I've gotten slightly wet to drenched and everything in-between on Kali. I think it's an enjoyable ride, but it is relatively short.
The problem with Kali is that it's only really got two moments of excitement in the whole ride. The geyser at the top of the lift and the drop are really the only exciting parts of the ride. Otherwise, it's just scenery with a couple small splashes.
Here's what I would do to the ride....
- Extend the lift a bit.
- After the lift, keep the geyser and waterfalls, but turn the flume to the left (instead of turning right), and go into a temple. This temple needs AA tigers and bats in it.
- Add more danger to the defrestation scene. Add swinging logs, and more fire.
- After the end of the drop, add waterfalls to the side of the flume, plus one big one which is guaranteed to drench somebody.
This would basically make the ride a minute or two longer, and add much more stuff to it. Ideally I'd kill that stupid logging truck, but Disney wants to send an environmental message with the ride.
