i been looking all over the web site trying to find apartments,jobs etc... we are moving into a new area and just want to make sure we are doing the right thing. bugs are bugs i just want them to bug me. i'm sorry if i seem like an but i'm not just ticked off. like i said i got 4 months to get all the info. thanks justin for being honest:sohappy:

Brer, please calm down! I honestly don't know anything about the job market in the Orlando area! Since I have no idea about the area you're interested in, I can't even guess. I know that WDW and the rest of the tourist areas were hurting, but things seem to be picking up again.

About the bugs, etc. We might be exaggerating a little, but what we've said is the truth. There ARE lots of insects here. It's a fact of life. After a while, you stop noticing them so much. I just try to warn people who are coming from colder climates about it. I was awoken by a guest once who was absolutely hysterical because she saw a bug! She couldn't understand why I didn't consider it a big deal! If you're like that about them, this might not be your dream area. However, if you like walking outside on March 21 with no jacket or even a sweater, or hate slush, or ice on your windshield, or icy cold lakes or oceans in the middle of July, Florida might be heaven.

Metro West is nice. It is known to be the "rich" neighborhood. You will see when you tell that you live there, people will go "niiiice" to you. hehe
Sorry to break it up to you, but it comes with roaches and bugs too! That´s Florida! hehe


(I can´t kill a roach, can´t even see them! but we lived happily spraying our apt ., keeping the food in the fridge and a clean kitchen and apartment at all times! Zero roaches in 15 months!) :sohappy:

I don´t live there anymore. I was a cast member from sept.98 to dec.99 and lived in the Disney complex for internationals, called "The Commons". Right next to Mary Queen of The Universe Shrine.

I had friends who lived in Metro West, so I´ve been there. The area looks nice. It´s a popular one in Orlando, whoever you ask will know what Metro West is and where it is. Just don´t ask me about that cause I am terrible giving directions!

I don't know, why are you moving there? You seemed to have woke up and decided, "Hey, lets move to Orlando". Have you ever been to Orlando? It seems that you don't even know what Orlando has to offer as far as a job market.

I would have a job in place before I moved to Orlando, especially Metro West.
