I've got kids so I have no problem leaving all of my money at WDW. :ROFLOL:

Great idea though, sounds like a job I'd like. :D

"You need help spending some money? Of course, Mr. Jones... we'd be happy to assist you in your shopping needs. Allow us to give you a brief tour of our latest vacation club property..."

Shopping Assistant: These are nice coffee mugs aren't they?

Guest: Meh.

SA: You do want them don't you?

G: No

SA: Are you sure?

G: Yes!

SA: *pulls out pocket watch and starts swinging it back and forth* You want the coffee mug! You want the coffee mug!

G: Does that ever work?

SA: You'd be surprised.

Does anyone know the full details of this? Maybe they started it for guests with disabilities? It could be a result of a Guest Survey. In any rate it's free!

I wonder if it is in response to Internet postings asking where to find such & such an item? If you have friends and relatives who gave you a list of things to bring back from WDW, it might make sense to let someone else take care of it while you enjoy the attractions, instead of spending your time shopping.

You make an interesting point.

Heading for the great escape.
Sadly since Disney only seems to sell generic crap that I can get in many superstores for a fraction of the price, I wont be availing myself of this service

Of course, I personally have never passed up an opportunity to go shopping. ;) But I know that a lot of men don't like to shop, and even a few women dislike it.

My philosophy that if I'm about to spend money, I want to at least enjoy the process of spending it, so this service isn't for me. Also, things at WDW really aren't hard to find anymore. Very little unique merchandise anymore.
