We got back late last night from WDW and I thought I would share a bit...
We got to see almost everything we wanted except Sorin' which had crazy stupid wait times and the FP always seened to be when we were eating.
Cast memebers and servers couldn't have been nicer!!! I have seen a lot of people on here having bad dining experiences lately. Not the case with us. In England, kudos to Lyndsay and Sarah for making our Anniversary so great. Lyndsay went all over WS to find us buttons to wear and we got a comlimentary dessert! Watched Illuminations; great night!
On Wed, we got stopped by the Dream Squad and received collectors lanyards and pins off the HM!!!! It made my trip. That night we ate at CG and they had our table decorated for our Anniversary and gave us a picture!! Watched Wishes from the top of the Contemporary while drinkin' champagne!
We made the mistake on Thursday am of going to Universal. They wouldn't let us into our locker (that malfunctioned) because our ID's were on us! Took us forever to fight with the locker guy and then security to let us get our stuff. When I said "This wouldn't happen at Disney" the locker guy said, "Well, I worked at Disney and thats because there are no lockers." Really? What are all those silly things at the front of the parks to hold your stuff in?? I guess we know why he doesn't work for WDW anymore. We left pretty upset and went back to get Re-Disneyfied...
Saw Fantasmic Friday night. Good seats. Did the package. I have to say MGM is still our least favorite park. Did TOT but other than that not much floats our boat.
Sat was Animal Kingdom and we did dinner in Japan. I like the new look but I'm not happy that the soup and salad are no longer included with dinner. It is also hit or miss with the chef. Gut next to us was awesome but ours was pregnant and she seemed pooped. Gotta be tough on your feet all day. I have to say I have never seen WS as crowded as it was Sat. Lots of drinking (and swearing). It had a PI atmosphere. I didn't envy security that night.
Sunday was golf at LBV and home. Overall, EVERYONE was nice and we can't wait to go back!
