Just got back

Hi all! I'm back. Had a wonderful time. We left on Dec 2nd, stayed ay All Star Sports for 2 nights, Wilderness Lodge for 3 nights, then on the Wonder for 4 nights. Crowds at the World were moderate according to my expert fiance. We went to MVMCP on Friday night. I thought it was very crowded. The lines were longer then during the daytime. Ave temp was about 72, except for Friday. It was freezing and raining. We met with the Wedding Coordinator who brought us around to some reception sites. I got a chance to walk out on the cat walk atop the Contemporary. WOW! what a view. We chose to have our reception there. The Osborne Lights were fantastic! The cruise was awesome! They treat ya like royalty! Weather was not so great. Very windy and a bit chilly I thought. We did the dolphin encounter in Nassau and snorkeled at Castaway Cay. Nassau was a big giant tourist trap. The people there are very very pushy. Castaway is paradise. There were alot of kids on the ship, but they do a great job at keeping the kids occupied while the adults enjoy and relax. We loved it so much that we booked a 7 day for our honeymoon next Dec. I have lots of pictures. Let me know what ya wanna see. Oh, Mission Space looks really cool!

Hi, Moonchild......Thank Goodness you didn't get sick on the cruise ship, what with all of the problems so many ships have been having as of late...

I have never cruised on the Disney ships, but would like to make that trip at least once. Cruising is lots of fun (been on one 7 day cruise and a weekender) The folks in Cozumel were also kind of pushy... I don't like salepeople "hoovering" around me. I like to be left alone, but they were literally right there in your face.

So when is the wedding date, Moonchild? :)

Dec 1st, 2003 is the wedding . I cant wait. We are doing the Western 7 day cruise that goes to Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Castaway. I have heard Cozumel was like Nassau. " Hey Lady... I braid your hair"! I didnt hear of anyone getting sick on the ship. They really keep everything very sterile. Guests cannot touch any of the food. They serve you at the buffet and our waitor told us if we used a salt shaker, they have to dump the whole thing and wash it. I also noticed alot of hand washing.

Glad to have you back and healthy! :)

I know what you mean abut Cozumel! So disgusting! However, my dad knows a guy who gets paid a very good amount of money just for letting these people stand at the entrance of his businness and offer whatever timeshare they offer!

It was the same in Nassau! I remember I couldn´t lay at the beach peacefully without having someone asking me if I wanted bracelets, dresses, my hair braided, etc etc etc! :animwink:

Maria, your signature, Let there be peace on Earth, was played after the show "Disney Dreams" on the Wonder. It was a perfect ending to the show.

Great pictures, thanks for posting them. Did you ride on Tower of Terror? if so, what did you think of the new drop sequences? Are you getting married at WDW? How exciting!

Thanks Grumpy. Not married yet. Next year December. We rode ToT 3 times to try to feel the difference from last year. I noticed alot of more drops, but smaller ones. Oh, and instead of 1 seat in the back row, middle with the seat belt, all of the seats in the back row have belts. We went on last thing at night. it was just about to rain and the walk up to the lobby was all foggy. It was real spooky! Here are some pics of the lobby:

This was just presented to me, please help me decide: For our honeymoon next year do we: have 5 days in WDW then onto a 7 day cruise on the Magic, or 14 days in WDW at the Wilderness Lodge. I cant decide!
