Just got back trip report

Well i have lots to say
first I will say that we stayed at the Coronado Springs, now we have stayed at all the mod resorts I was a little nervous b/c all the reviews were so so, Well I must say that is the best mod we LOVE it spread out really felt like we were in Mexico, Great food ,Great pool.
And heres a tip if you have your car use it get anywhere in WDW in 5 min or less
Next i have read that some think the strawberry swirl is better then the dole whip.........Its not:animwink: Also alot of bad reviews of spaceship earth again we loved it, and all the "postcards" we sent were enjoyed by our loved ones
We saw Wishes fireworks from both Cali grill and poly beach and poly beach wins that one also get there early for water light parade
Why in Japan does the candy maker girl only give away to kids ??Disney is for adults too!! and one more thing Adventures Club ..............I dont get it

I've never stayed at Coronado Springs, but am looking for a mod resort for my family for next year, so maybe I will check this one out since so many people seem to like it.

Also I've never had a Dole Whip or Strawberry Swirl in all my years at WDW, but I am going to try BOTH this summer! I'll have to report back what I liked better.

I'm sad to hear about the candy lady in Japan...I was hoping on my honeymoon this summer to check that out. Oh well, at least another "adult" here got some, so I have hope!

Just got back myself. I tried both the Dole Whip swirl and the Strawberry swirl this trip, and found the Strawberry swirl a bit...underwhelming. Not enough strawberry flavor for me. My choice: Dole Whip swirl! :sohappy:

Not sure about the quick service there, but the Mexican food in "Maya Grill" is very very very good. Its a hidden gem of a restaurant, with gorgeous decor and really tasty and fancy food.

and one more thing Adventures Club ..............I dont get it

What don't you get? Did you go for the whole night and do all of the shows or just pop in see one of the small rooms and leave? I can tell you that the frist time I went we got there late missed the main show so we were just sitting on there wondering what was going on and then we left. You have to really spend some time in there to get it. There is a running story that starts with the Welcome show and ends before midnight or so. The Hoopla is really just a fun wrap up of the night.

But also it is not a place everyone gets. I tell people if you can sit down and watch your fav silly comedy movie over and over and over again and laugh each time then it is a place for you. If you watch it and that is it.....not the place for you. You also have to have a sense of humor that is a little darker and at times ever :lookaroun a little BLUE. Also it helps if you are open to going in and laughing at not only other people but yourself, I have gone with people that will fight tooth and nail not to get pulled up on the stage or have a joke made at their expense. But that is really what the club is all about!
