Hey, I just got back from a long weekend at WDW. I got some pics but I have no idea how to load them on here. Maybe i'll try to figure it out this evening before I try to catch up on sleep. Anyhow, just wanted to let you guys know that everything in MK seemed to be in working order on Friday when I went except for Pirates, which was closed for EMH...I dunno about before hand.
Sunday however, Splash Mountain brokedown 3 times and was closed for most of the day. Space Mountain broke down twice but came back up about a half hour before the park closed. And Big Thunder Mountain broke down once around noon but came back up and ran fine for the remainder of the day.
The clock tower at "it's a small world" is working again too! I watched it do its little show 3 times and got a couple pictures of it. I guess that's good news!
You guys were right about the monorails looking extremely worn, but I did ride with the pilot a couple time and found that the rumor about escaping out the roof, sliding down the front (or back) of the train and walking to the nearest station via the concrete rail was completely false (if any of you believed it)
and some quick reviews before I go...SSE looks great. IllumiNations was amazing! (first time I ever watched it) Ellen's Energy Adventure was probably my favorite EPCOT attraction this go around, "Honey, I shrunk the Audience" is dated and should be replaced...and honestly...Journey Into Imagination was just plain stupid!
Oh how I missed the Haunted Mansion and SSE though! It felt weird not doing those on this trip!
