My boyfriend and I just booked our trip for December 15th-21st!! We will be staying at Port Orleans! I am just soo excited, I want to cry!!

Yes! 208 days! Countdown is already on my phone! And sorry, I am a little new here, what are ADR's?

ADR = Advanced Dining Reservation

At most WDW Table Service (TS) restaurants, you are allowed to make dinner reservations up to 180 days. The other fast-food type restaurants are called Quick Service (QS). These don't take reservations.

Some restaurants are extremely popular (for example Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom) and can fill up extremely early. It seems you will be a party of 2 and, generally, the mad scramble to book ADRs is a little less crazy for parties of 2.

Since you are at 208 days, it's time to start you pre-trip planning (one of the best parts of a WDW vacation!) and start figuring out where you might want to eat. You'll get loads of advice from these threads. My advice is to not go crazy with ADRs. No more than one per day. Even leave a day or two open. There are plenty of restaurants that can be booked after you arrive. Other guests plan their entire trips around ADRs.

Wonderful time to go. Crowd levels, weather, decorations, resorts, etc .. Prob my fav time of year to be at WDW. Well done!
