We've done LTT 4x, Whispering Canyon 2x, Tony's 1x, Le Cellier 3x and Kona's 1x, on previous visits.

I have to admit I was surprised at getting Le Cellier (I did put on my best Queen's English accent:king:).

We've also eaten at the Yacht Club, H&V, Mama Melrose, Ohanas, Bomas, Maya Grill, Turf Club, Spoodles, Raglan Road, Spirit of Aloha, CRT and Grand Floridian Cafe (we do the DDP).

Out of those, the one's we've decided never to do again are H&V, CRT and the Grand Floridian Cafe.

We've eaten at the following: the Concourse 3x, Tony's, Les Chefs de France, Hollywood and Vine 2x, Le Cellier 3x, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree 2x, the Garden Grill, Cap'n' Jack's, 1900 Park Fare, Ohana Best Friend's Breakfast, the Maya Grill 2x, the Coral Reef, Boma, the Sci-Fi, and L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante.

::knock on wood:: We get Le Cellier on the days we want and within an hour of the time we like on our first call. I just think the demand for the place is funny. It's is very good, but I just can't believe the demand. It seems like its popularity has jumped over the last 3 years. Was it always this popular?

LOVE LOVE LOVE LTT!!! I'm with you on H&V. Yuck! What didn't you like about the GFC? We have an ADR for it and I'm just curious.

When we went I was wearing a polo shirt and tailored shorts. I'd never had so many people looking down their noses at me as if they'd got something the dog had dropped on their top lip. I've eaten in many real 5* hotels around Europe and never been made to feel so uncomfortable. It's nothing to do with my demographic back-ground either (socio-ecomonic B). I was educated at a selected school and took my degree at Oxford.

On arrival, I asked the security guard where to park. He just said "over there". I asked "over where" and he just replied "over there". I finally found the car park which was full. So back to the entrance again. Told the security guard the car park was full and was there any other car park I could use. He said "If it's full, it's full". So I asked him where I could put the car. He replied "valet". I took it to the Valet point and had to wait just under 15 minutes for someone to come and attend to me.

The meal itself was average, but the dessert was a joke - 1" by 0.5" by 0.5". Also the waitress was very unattentive, took a long time to serve us, disappeared when asked for drinks etc (okay, it may have been the "wrong time of the month" for her, but all in all it added up to a very uninspiring event).

I'm a Disney Visa cardmember, and I booked my ADRs the night before free dining became available to the general public... there were 151 ADRs booked in about 5 minutes at 9:30 PM! I even joked about it with the CM, because I got all of my first choices and things were moving very quickly; the confirmation numbers were going up by 20-30 every time. :)

Shoot!!! I have ADR's for lunch at Tony's for tomorrow!! Should I switch for Liberty Tree??

We ate at Tony's last October and had a great meal. It was delicious. The ambiance was fantastic and the service was wonderful.

At the end of the day it's all down to individuals' personal feelings. I've eaten at restaurants with the most glowing of reviews and come away from some thinking "what a waste of money". I've also been to many restaurants that have been lambasted by people and had a totally wonderful experience there.

The best review of a restaurant is always your own review. Try it, if you don't like it, don't go there again ( I would never go to the Grand Floridian Cafe again).

Echo that sentiment, 20 minutes before waitress arrived to take our order then 45 minutes before we were served breakfast. Breakfast took 90 minutes. We've never been back.
