Just an FYI, but the rumors will fly.

I am leaving for Disney World tomorrow for two weeks. As I just logged onto the MyDisneyExperience Ap to give my reservations one last look, I had a notification. I clicked it and it was actually a survey of 3 questions.

Question 1.) Your ticket includes Park hopping. With 3 fast pass reservations, will you use 3 in one park or save a reservation for another park. It asks me to click, Somewhat likely, most likely or not at all.

Question 2.) On an average day, will your party be visiting more than 2 parks.

Question 3.) Will you and your party be utilizing the FP+ Kiosks set up throughout the parks.

I am curious about the first question. It seems to me that they are either currently experimenting with FP+ and Park Hopping, or that they will be very soon.

Yes
I've heard of several people getting this survey. Hopefully it's a change for the better with MM+

here would be my responses
1 - most likely
2 - no (I rarely do more than 2 parks/day unless I'm balls-to-the-wall 4 parking it)
3 - probably not

I remember telling people early on who were so upset about this not being available, to just wait, that in all likelihood it would be added on. Glad to see that they're trying to address the issue. I'm anxious now to see it rolled out and how it's going to work.

People seem to forget MyMagic+ is STILL TESTING. So your prediction was right about just waiting, because anything can change with the system at a moment's notice without warning. I didn't even look at the FastPass thing as an issue. They were building a brand new system, so you start with the easiest things first and then work your way to the most advanced part of the system which is multi-park FastPasses.

I knew this would eventually come, but didn't expect them to even be discussing it so quickly. Good to hear it's on a survey, and I hope the responses are overwhelmingly in favor of Park Hopping FP+.

I had only two issues with FP+ when we visited, and they were two things I've known would be an issue for us all along - not able to park-hop the FP's, and not able to use one more than once for one attraction.

I can sacrifice the multiple rides if they open the the flexibility for Park Hopping, because then if I want to ride, say ToT a couple times....I don't have to dedicate all 3 FPs to DHS on two separate occasions. I would be able to add it as the 3rd FP on a day when I use the other 2 in another park.

So I interpret the questions as:

1) Are you park hopping?
2) Are you an extreme park hopper?
3) Do we need to build more kiosks?

My answers back in free-form mode would be:
1) Of course, why else would I have the park hopper pass?
2) Some days, you might as well build the system to accommodate this rather than exclude it
3) Don't build more kiosks, keep those you've built working. Then, just make sure your in-park wifi and apps work and sell iPod Touchs, or similar to the guests.

For anyone going to Disney soon, keep a look out for your reservations on the mydisneyexperience ap. It has been screwing up a lot for me lately. Everyone of my fast passes have been for my family of four. When I go back a day later, the reservations for 4, change to reservations for 3, leaving someone different out of the fast passes every single day. I have updated this 5 times this past week to include everyone, but a couple days later, the reservations again change to 3.

For the first question, it says a lot more than Are you Park hopping. It is asking if I will be using 3 fast passes at one park or breaking them up between different parks.

I heard about this from another poster/another forum. Are your reservations linked to your room? How are the 4 of you listed on the room?

Me, my wife and two kids are all included in my disney experience with rooms, dining and tickets.

When I have made reservations for fast passes, I always check everyone in my party and it always says reservations for 4. But a day later, my itinerary says reservations for 3. Every day there is one ride that leaves a different person out.

WiFi was terrible trying to make changes on iPod touches this past weekend.

70% of the time we clicked on something, we got a bad connection error.

Signals dropped about ever 20 seconds or so.

It dropped 2 off of one of our days this weekend. Luckily I checked a few minutes before park open and added them back on. We did have to move a ride time back because earlier times were gone.

Pre-2pm FPs are getting tough to come by.
