Just a quick question.

Is it a better idea to plan my flight with my vacation package with Disney, or is it cheaper to do the flights separate?

I'm trying to save as much money as I can, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

On your own. Southwest has the best deals and you can check with DING everyday and then snag them. My daughter got them for 88 dollars one way last Dec to go to Disney she could not have driven from Texas that cheap and spent as long if they had to drive. Usually the prices they included are from 2-300 dollars one way.Per person

If you book your airfare on the disney website along with your hotel and park tickets you pay whatever the fare is at that moment for that airline. As others have said it is cheaper to shop the airfare around and keep checking the airline websites.

I have seen my airfare go for as high as $400 dfw-mco-dfw to as low as $189 dfw-mco-dfw. One tip, if you are booking more than one ticket, book them one at a time. I can only speak for American Airlines, if you ask for more than one, the computer takes them out of a more expensive seat inventory, then if you pick them off one or two at a time from a lower fare seat inventory. It is a lot more work but it pays off in the end.

When booking our April trip back in December I checked getting everything thru Disney vs. getting airfare separately. Airtran had the cheapest prices and I think they were the same/very close regardless of what option I chose. What I did figure out was that the same flight times were not listed on both reservation sites. In the end I booked airfare separately b/c the cost and times worked out best.
