Jurassic Park: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood to be re-themed to Jurassic World.... What does this mean for Orlando?

My guess is that they'll utilize video screens in the main show building, which would enhance that part of the attraction, while sticking with physical elements for the outdoor portions.

I really wish that Universal had followed the awesomeness of the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland, and created a jeep based ride similar to the tour from the original movie. Every time that I ride Dinosaur at AK, I always think about how much better if could be with a Jurassic Park overlay. I also see the potential for a gyrosphere ride addition somewhere in UOR/IOA. A spinning coaster would lend itself well and be unique to the park as well.

I am curious to see what the new inclusion of the raptors will be at IOA. The raptors have been my favorite part of each movie, so I am glad they are getting their due finally.

The Raptor Encounter is already open, although I'm not sure if it will remain open with this new attraction potentially coming to the area.

The article made it seem like either that experience would be expanded or possibly a ride focusing on the raptors would be built in its wake. I would like to see a pen similar to Jurassic World and possibly have multiple Raptor Encounters at once, or different skins for each of the raptors as well. But I think that a roller coaster will eventually be whats made for the raptor area. They're just too dynamic of an animal to keep as just a meet and greet.

It could be a raptor coaster.

I guess the favored rumor at this moment for Jurassic Park at IOA is a RMC or Gravity group themed wood/steel hybrid coaster in this area (that may go over walkways or near/over the lagoon) at the Triceratops/Discovery center area. And maybe some upgrades to river adventure and the Discovery Center also.

The wood coaster was the dead amber mines concept.
