Jungle Cruise to get holiday overlay

Just got off. It is extremely subtle. The decorations in the queue are fairly minimal, and the script just has a few Christmas jokes in it. The fans will like the small changes, but I don't think the majority of guests will really notice. They did a good job, but it is not something to get overly excited about in my opinion.

This may have been mentioned before, and I'll probably think of one as soon as I ask, but has WDW ever had a Holiday overlay ride?

Here in the park today and was disappointed. Decorations look like they were purchases at the dollar store and jokes were not funny. We get jingle cruise and universal gets hp2 and transformers

I'm thinking the cheesy decorations were on purpose as the idea is it's a outpost in the jungle that's been decorated by the skippers. As for the jokes... I don't know that I've ever categorized any jokes on the Jungle Cruise as funny... that was always sort of the point for me. :)

Well, the Jungle Cruise jokes have never been funny. Punny or corny, sure. Not sure what you were expecting. As far as the decorations go, aren't they supposed to look like what the skippers would have been able to get shipped to the jungle back in the 30s-40s? (correct me if thats the wrong era, but I'm going off the music) So yeah, a bit low budget, Christmas wasn't always the mega cash drop it is now. Heck, people used to think aluminum Christmas trees were all the rage at one point.

I think that's an easy cop out to not put a lot of effort into the decorations.
