Agreed! At the very least, add an animatronic of him or something to the side of the Sunshine Tree Terrace or something or do something like the Barker Bird outside.. that interacts and does fun stuff with his Orange thought bubble above.

Just read the backstories of the characters up the tree. They are US, Canadian, Mexican, Japanese, and Irish. Do we expect a change in the era the Jungle Cruise is set? Seems unlikely to me that all these people would be together in the 30's

Scientific communities have always been more international (and less political) than the general population. International cooperation in areas of archeology, anthropology, and zoology in the 1930s/40s would have crossed many of the political/ideological differences.

But yeah, this isn't trying to be accurate, so much as dramatic and inclusive.
