Yea i just read this on Imdb.com too. I hope they learned from their mistakes and make a good movie. The haunted mansion should of been an amazing movie, there was already somemany great stories in the ride and did not need the one about Eddi Murphy.

I hope this means that they might been updating the Jungle Cruise ride like they did in DisneyLand. The updates really help the ride and the new ending with the piranhas was soooo cool, and ive never used to reffer to anything on that ride as cool. lol


Disney Testing New Theme-Park Waters
The Walt Disney Co. is planning to turn another one of its theme-park rides into a movie. Today's (Thursday) Hollywood Reporter reported that Disney Pictures is developing a film version of Jungle Cruise, one of Disneyland's original "E-ticket" rides. The studio has had mixed results in turning its Magic Kingdom rides into magic at the box office. Although Pirates of the Caribbean has produced the biggest grosses in the studio's history, the 2004 movie The Haunted Mansion was generally regarded as a disappointment. The $90-million movie earned less than $25 million in its debut and wound up with about $75 million domestically, while Disney's Country Bears bombed in 2002 with just $17 million.

Well, if it happens, I hope its good and doesnt suck as much as CB did. Hopefully ppl wont hype it up as something great like POC, and HM probably wasnt bad at all like everyone claims.

i agree that there was some really cool scenes and the sets were beautiful. The story was just junk, also the house not haunted anymore at the end was just lame, it's the haunted mansion!!!!!

For the record, I loved the Haunted Mansion Movie! I can't wait for the Jungle Cruise movie! I wonder, will it be completely comedy or more of an action.

If it is comedy, it better write some very funny material to counter the purposely made awful jokes from the ride.

If it is more action like Pirates, it probably would have some funny scenes, but I think they should still put in the bad jokes from the ride. That's part of the whole fun of the Jungle Cruise!
