Jungle Book success lead to jungle cruise retheme?

I don't see Disney doing this at all for 2 reasons.

1.) Disney would be forced to retheme the Jungle cruise themed Restaurant and that is something Disney wouldn't do right now due to the Restaurant opening last year.
2.) Like others said, this movie as an attraction would be much better fit at Animal Kingdom. While Disney has been adding stuff to AK, adding a Jungle book actually would help out the park when it gets longer park hours. I do question Disney using Jungle Book as a ride due to Disney trying the IP as an attraction years ago at AK.

To be honest, I don't think we'll see a true presence of the live action adaptations in the U.S. parks. None of the others have replaced the presence of the animated versions to any real extent. The closest we've gotten aside from the sneak peaks was a walk around version of the Angelina Jolie Maleficent appearing at a handful of special events.

Well I think we can all agree that if any attraction could use a lot of plussing, it's Jungle Cruise. They need to break away from the corny joke motif and instead get serious with a synergistic plot outline that will fit tropical forest venues. Groot and Rocket Raccoon would be perfect hosts.

Hmmmm. I agree this IP is best suited for DAK. Perfect really. However I would only object if they changed the Disneyland version as that should stay as is.

That version belongs to Walt.

I can see it now...

The Indian Elephants are already there too. And a "Man Village." And a scene that looks like the area around "Peace Rock." I would hate this so much.......... I know it's fake and not a real rumor.

Since the movie seems to be doing very well for its opening weekend and Disney appears to already want a sequel made could we see a possible retheme of jungle cruise? I personally hope not, but since they wanna tie the rides to any movie they can I could see Disney doing this.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope.

Nooo! I hate to put down a thread topic, but why even mention the idea? It's such a horrendous idea that current management would probably be all over it. Ruin a great piece of legacy and history that will benefit the company far more than just the quick burst of synergy they'd get from this.

Anyway, there is a Jungle Cruise movie that must be fairly far along in the development process by now, and there is a Jungle Cruise restaurant in MK. So those factors, along with the unwillingness to spend money and hopefully a few logical brains wthin the company, would prevent this from happening.

I also personally don't believe that any theme park attractions should be based on the live action versions of classics, since their popularity will likely fade, and, well, they're not the originals.

The Jungle Cruise has changed before. When it was first built back in 1955 there were no corny jokes. The ride followed the genre of the popular Disney True Life Nature series:

But that version only lasted until the early 1960's because it was rather stupid and boring. Walt realized his mistake and by 1963 the corny jokes started. Then (as now) there was an approved script.

The real problem now is that Disney is not getting the synergy they need from this attraction. And who in their right mind wants to hear tired old corny jokes from the skipper? The skipper is just there for show and the quality of the show is entirely determined by the skipper. Therefore show quality is drastically different dependent upon whether you get a good skipper or a bad skipper.

To make show quality better and more consistent for all guests, the show should be prerecorded by professionals and use animatronic or costumed guest hosts such as Rocket Raccoon, Groot and other articulate stars. The merchandise sales would increase greatly and after all, that's the heart of what Walt would have wanted.

I really don't get you. There is no need to synergize this attraction. It's still very popular and whenever I go on people still really enjoy it and going by your suggestion of IP, if it wasn't obvious to everyone here before, you're just a troll.
