I really don't get you. There is no need to synergize this attraction. It's still very popular and whenever I go on people still really enjoy it and going by your suggestion of IP, if it wasn't obvious to everyone here before, you're just a troll.
Some people crave the attention.

Well, I disagree. Since the Disney True Life Adventure series is just a fond memory for some but a dim memory for most people, the central theme of the Jungle Cruise attraction has been scuttled. I recognize that it holds a special place for the usual group of nostalgic preservationists but that can be said for a myriad of attractions such as CBJ, Tiki Birds, CoP and other such attractions that belong in the old attractions home.

To keep the Jungle Cruise fresh and vital for present and future generations it must evolve and change to stay relevant. While I think Groot and Rocket Raccoon would fit in nicely with the flora and fauna theme, I'm not opposed to other creative alternatives. Between now and 2020 there are going to be six new Star Wars movies made and one or more of them might revolve around a True Life Adventure theme.

And of course there's the Tim Burton, Dumbo remake coming up and that may hold some possibilities for incorporation into the Jungle Cruise. The Pete's Dragon remake might also be a possibility and the new movie Moana has potential as well.

Suffice it to say that there are a lot of great thematic properties that could easily be adapted for the Jungle Cruise to keep it vibrant so that it will not fall victim to the 20K syndrome.

If Disney were to bring this to WDW, if, Kali River Rapids would be a perfect spot. The story takes place in India. They could add AAs of the characters throughout the attraction and have them talk/sing to people as they go by. Enclose part of the ride and have people being chased out of a temple by King Louie (or would that be too Kong-ish).

Seeing exotic animals (albeit mechanic) seems vibrant enough for a vast majority of people. Are you from Strategic Planning by any chance?

Kali is way too short. Go new.

It's not vibrant at all but it is whimsical. And I admit that some people are fascinated with the herky-jerky motions of the Jungle Cruise animatronics and look at the attraction from the standpoint that it was once touched by Walt's genius and therefore should be preserved in its natural state for perpetuity.

However, that philosophy flies in the face of what Walt himself wanted his attractions to be. For too many years the attraction has relied upon corny jokes so that guests will accept the current obvious flaws. But the attraction doesn't have to be butt of jokes any longer.

As mentioned before, the entertainment value of the corny jokes rests entirely with the skipper. In comedy, timing and delivery are of paramount importance to make the jokes work. People that have the proper comedic skills are not going to waste their time as a Jungle Cruise skipper. Therefore the skippers you get are rather lackluster. As a side note, one of the best Kilimanjaro Safari drivers I ever had assumed the persona of a Jungle Cruise skipper. I'm sure he quit and went on to a rewarding career in comedy writing and/or performing.

You know that the original plan for Jungle Cruise was to use live animals and that animatronics were used instead. That was over 60 years ago. Technological advancements could make the Jungle Cruise into a seminal attraction with no need for corny jokes.

I will say I like like how no part of this post mentions the inappropriate injection of IP. If it received newer animatronics that still remained faithful to the current designs I would have no problem and I don't think anyone else would either.

I'm sorry, but how do ANY of those movies (aside from Moana) fit into Adventureland? Putting Dumbo in the Jungle Cruise is like replacing the Carosuel of Progress with a ride based on Zootopia.

Well, once you come to understand that the introduction of IP is a profit deal, it takes the pressure off:

I would hope not. Though, I also don't see how a sequel could be made from the movie, but I'm sure they'll find a way, so you never know.
