Hi there!

I saw that someone began a thread for December 2007 trips to Disney World and I thought that it would be fun to do the same for June 2007.

I'll be there June 1-10 (prior to the Haunted Mansion closing on the 6th) and am staying in the Contemporary.

How about you??

I will be there with my wife and 2 daughters (ages 7 & 9) on June 11th until June 21st. The first five days we're staying at the Yacht Club Resort, the second five days we're staying at the Polynesian. This will be my fourth time, my wife's third and my kid's first time. My wife and I on previous trips have stayed at the Contemporary resort and the Grand Floridian. I'm really looking forward to this trip as I'll be seeing WDW through my daughter's eyes. The first time I got to go to the Magic Kingdom was when I was a kid in the year the park first opened, that trip created a lot of good memories for me, I know it will do the same for my kids. I'm angry  that they decided to refurb my favorite attraction the week before we arrive, but there's nothing I can do about it. When I think about this trip as being for my kids and just for me, it's easier to take this disappointment when I think about everthing else there is to see in the world. We're driving down from Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin border, leaving the Saturday before, staying the night in Nashville, TN then stopping in Lake City, FL Sunday night, and will arrive at the Yacht Club Monday around Noon or so. Good luck on your trip, hope you have fun!

Happy early birthday! What a way to spend it...maybe I'll swing that some time in my life.
Thanks Missymoe. I did it also because my vacation club check will be issued a week or two before so I'm forced to save spending it just a bit longer until I get there. If you see any of those going to be in the parks while I'm there you'll know me because I'll have a birthday button from the parks on my American Tourister carrier bag. From stuff I've read here and at other WDW, I should have tons of fun by celebrating my birthday there.

We'll be there, too!!

We're taking the auto-train down from VA, and after a few days visit in Tampa we will arrive at WDW on June 11. It will be my 2nd visit (1st visit was 1983-ish), and my husband's and my chilidren's (1.5 & 3.5) first visit. We have reserved a Standard Kilamanjaro Club room at AKL.

I have been so excited about our trip:

*I went to the Disney store this morning and some shirts to wear for our trip!!
*I bought several movies for my kids to watch so they know who the characters are when they see them.
*I also read "The Unofficial Guide" from cover to cover back in Jan, and plan to read it again in a couple of weeks to refresh my memory!!

Next year we are planning to go to CA to visit DL (and some relatives and friends, too!!). Then the following year we might go on a Disney cruise!! So we're going for a Disney "Triple Crown"...
:king: :king: :king:

I hope everyone has a great vacation...
