Just changed my ADR's around because of this! Now we don't need to rush to MK on July 3rd when we arrive to WDW. We'll be there on the 5th instead and relax on the third at CSR :)

Steve, when you say perimeter is that the normal all around the lagoon launch points with the mirror and all? If so, this is a pretty substantial ltm

We leave to return home the morning of the 1st so we'll just miss it. Bummer. Super cool for everyone that will be able to check it out though. I also have to agree that this is probably the best so far, but like @WDWFigment said, the others aren't that tough to beat. Still, very cool either way.

this is really good news to here I am going to be at the Disney world resort on July 1st it will be my last day in the park but it will be the best ending to my Disney world vacation this summer. I am leaving to go to Disney world Sunday June 23rd so I can't wait to see this really good 4th of July fireworks show in person with my family I have always wanted to see this fireworks show in person seen I saw the first video of it on another Disney video site for 2008 I have a question were is the best place to see the 4th of July fireworks show from should I see it in the magic kingdom or see it at one of the hotels near the magic kingdom when I am there on the 1st of July and how bad will the crowed be on the 1st of July at the magic kingdom is this only going to be at the magic kingdom or will it also be at Epcot also? I am asking this question because I really want to see the Epcot 4th of July fireworks but if they are just going to be happing on the on the 3rd and 4th of July this year I will miss seeing them this year and is the Hollywood studios going to be having there 4th of July fireworks before the 3rd and 4th of July this year because I want to see that fireworks show to but I am only going to be seeing one4th of July fireworks show this year when I am at the Disney world resort so I need to tell my family what 4th of July fireworks show that I want to see before I live the Disney world resort on July 2nd I have an app on my Ipad that has Disney world on it with the wait times and the shows so I will be checking it before I go to the park on the 1st of July this year with my family. I am so glad that I am going to be able to see wishes again and the 4th of July fireworks this year like I said earlier I am leaving on June 23rd but I will not be going into the park until the Thursday of that week.

Good idea on Disney's part. Should help to disperse the crowds that would otherwise all cram into MK on the same night. I know in the past they've done three nights, but a full week? Even better.

Any idea when the last time they did 3 nights was?

I've not heard of 3 nights in the past myself (which means nothing). The normal pattern for the last few years is the Magic Kingdom July 4th show happens on July 3rd & 4th and the Epcot and DHS shows only on July 4th.

Yeah I don't remember 3 but I haven't hit it every year either so was curious

It is the 360 and lagoon island mirror on the 3rd and 4th. The other days will be the 180 perimeters and no island mirror.

It is a launch site in the Seven Seas Lagoon which mirrors all of the pyro that originates behind the castle from the regular north launch location.

Thanks!
Interesting, so basically "Double Fireworks".
I've got a Boardwalk view villa on the 4th, which will be an ideal central location for fireworks. But I may have to wander over and check this out on the 3rd.
The Poly beach would probably be a perfect spot.
