July 2009 Crowds...lower than usual

I just finished a July 6th -13th trip to WDW Florida. I noticed a significantly smaller crowds versus July 2006. The longest we waited for an attraction was 50 mins at Soarin in Epcot. Everything else was 30 mins or less. The only attraction I could not verify was Space Mountain due to its closure for renovation.

The same goes for Dining Reservations. Its true that some restaurants need reservations well in advance, but many places we made reservations for during our stay..with no problems.

I was over at Magic Kingdom today (July 19) and at noon there was no line longer than 30 minutes. At least according to the times board on Main Street...

In the last couple of weeks on the days i have moped through the park I have seen it has range from 30 min - 110 mins.

I was at DHS two days ago. We got in right at opening (with very little line) and made our way directly to TSMM. FPs were going quickly but the standby line was only 30 minutes (and ended up being a lot shorter than that).

Nothing that day was longer than 30 minutes. We even walked up to the 50's Prime Time Diner at 12:15pm and got seated right away without an ADR.
