Journey to the center of the Animal Kingdom???

Yeah, but if you look you'll see most of the "Construction" shots are of a guy working on the rim of the overhang that surrounds Triceratop Spin.

Trust us, the Journey bit at the end of that show is NOT new. Interesting, but not new.

I've got both versions on tape. It was originally aired years ago and has been edited at least once (maybe twice) to add in the latest additions to AK. It's very well done and you would almost think that it was a completely new show, but it's not.

And the lava monster was in the originally aired version.

Since you are a new member, that ending has been discussed years ago. Stop saying it is new. Disney re-edited their travel-channel-promo show EVERY YEAR. It's nothing new.

wow, guys, it's ok. I misunderstood, it's an old show. It just seemed new, and interesting.

Some of us don't watch EVERY tourist sales pitch on Disney World.

does anyone have a link to the JHM article?

I hate cloning...unless we get a clone of something from the Tokyo parks. The detail and technology is so much better than we get.

I know I will upset some people with thsi one, but....

I like cloning of some attractions - particularly the E Ticket rides like Soarin and maybe, one day, Journey from TDS. I go on Soarin everytime I visit EPCOT. I wouldn't be able to do that if it wasn't cloned. Let's face it, even die hard fans like us, may never get to Tokyo. Heck I have been to WDW hundreds of times over the last 31 years, but the only time I went to DL was for the 50th Anniversary. Signature attractions like this need to be spread out in different parks. Why shouldn't Disney spread these out to attract audiences and make the experience awesome for those visitors who will never get to another country, or even Anaheim. Given that these attractions costs 100's of million of dollars, it also makes economic sense for Disney to spread the imagineering costs over more parks.

I also liked going to DL and discovering the differences between it and WDW. It made the trip even more fun trying to spot the differences in the parks and the attractions.

I say clone Journey and any other fantastic attraction from TDL and TDS sooner rather than later. However, the clone should be as awesome as the original, not a cheaper version like Disney has done with some other clones.

Oh, absolutely. I'm a Disney fan, not a maniac. I won't (and can't) spend my holidays travelling around the world visiting Disney parks to check out great unique rides. I've done WDW lots. DL and Paris once. Tokyo I hope to see one day. Hong Kong, maybe in the distant future when it's build up.

If there's something good, build it at the other parks. TOT is in three different parks, each version a bit different. That works for me.

exactly. when you think about it, basically all of the magic kingdom (and its famous attractions) are clones of disneyland.
