Hard to decide if the current negative publicity is pushing them to speed up so they can announce more things opening. Or if this was already planned.i think it should be called 'Universal Studios' speed !!
I think itās fair to say a bit of both? Construction seems to have been speeding up over the course of the past few months, but definitely stepped into over drive with all of the heat. I donāt blame them though, the best way to change the conversation is to give people something different to talk about. Iām assuming thatās why they released info about Mickeyās Not So Scary so early too. Id imagine the food booth menus for Food & Wine are right around the corner too.Hard to decide if the current negative publicity is pushing them to speed up so they can announce more things opening. Yes, I'm still curious to know what is actually going to be in between this and Connections/Creations. There's been an unusual amount of silence from both Disney and insiders as to whether they've actually figured out what to do with the centre of the park beyond what's already started or finished construction.Look past the construction, looks like a whole lot of nothing is going on
Do you have pics of tidy construction sites?Looks like a mess.
I mean, they confirmed even after other cuts and pauses in work that Dreamers Point is still on, which represented the majority of what was going in the middle anyway. The other elements were mostly landscaping, a smaller fountain, and the wishing tree. We're obviously still getting landscaping; the other elements were so minor that they could entirely rework them and I doubt anyone would care. The festival area remains the biggest question mark in my mind.Yes, I'm still curious to know what is actually going to be in between this and Connections/Creations. Oh that's right, they did reconfirm Dreamer's Point! I guess I am still curious as to how that whole space is going to be configured now that the festival center has been axed. So far, there's no indication they're doing any work on the other features so there's no sense of anything taking shape. I guess the Journey of Water is not supposed to open until 2023 anyway, so they have time.I mean, they confirmed even after other cuts and pauses in work that Dreamers Point is still on, which represented the majority of what was going in the middle anyway. Okay...And it only took them a little over a year to build it. But maybe the water garden is more elaborate?
I've haven't seen mention of the Wishing Tree for a long time. That and the entertainment / outdoor seating area seems to have been wished to the cornfield.I mean, they confirmed even after other cuts and pauses in work that Dreamers Point is still on, which represented the majority of what was going in the middle anyway. Yup pretty clean foundation, howling was it like that, a few weeks, a month? Check the date on when this thread started, will the Water Journey be done by summer, fall, sometime in 2023?

Most importantly, tho, is this: Did the construction zone look tidy or like a mess? That was state of the art construction and the scope and scale for the time was uncharted. Sad but in reality it could have been much worse. Just recently, 100s died building the new airport in Istanbul.
If you match the timelines I bet it looked far less of a mess than this thing has. My comment was more I would have hoped it was further along at this point. So yeah it's a mess. Most importantly, tho, is this: Did the construction zone look tidy or like a mess?
Isnāt that what Innoventions was?
