I've asked several castmembers what the new ride will be like all they say is "I don't know' and that Figment is in it. Well duh he's on the new sign out front. GIVE ME DETAILS!!!!

Most cast members don't know. They aren't designing or changing the ride. Unless the ride is open, there isn't a need for cast members to be near it.

The fewer people that know right now, the better. It helps build the suspense.

Even the CM's at the Mission:Space Launch Center don't know what the ride (system) will be. And since there really isn't too much suspence in JII (most people don't know) then it won't be hyped. When it opens you might see a billboard saying what it is.

There are cast memeber who know about Mission Space unless they are just trying to sound important. I do think they know the plot of the ride.

I want to know the Story line more than the ride system. I wonder what the point is going to be. Also does anyone have that Disney Mission Space site (from WDW.com)?

I personally think Nigel Channing (or however you spell his name) isn't that bad. I think he is funny in "Honey I Shrunk..." but i didn't like him in JIYI because that ride just blows. I think that Dreamfinder was cool. He was a little spooky- he reminded me too much of John Wayne Gacy! jk, He just doesn't currently have that attractive egde that is needed to help people like the atraction. Nigel Channing however is annoying, ugly in a Kramer from "Seinfeld" sort of way and has a british accent. He has potetial to be a likeable character but he isn't the original so nobody likes him.

Why do I have a feeling that this ride is going to change much? I hope that they aren't just going to change the attraction by adding a few extra figments. They were only given a few million to do this project

The budget was set at 30 million dollars... that's not "just a few million", that's more than Walt Disney's yearly salary. And about the return of the "One little spark" song... does anyone but me have the feeling that not only Figment, but Nigel will be singing it? :brick: ::Shudders:: You guys are right, there was something scary abt dreamfinder. He seemed a little too friendly to me... :lookaroun

According to figmentsimagination.com the budget is only 7.5 million for the makeover.

They should demolish it and build a toilet block. I'd find it more interesting. I just never see the appeal in that place.

as i have no memory of Figment his demise or return have no influence on me. I find it amusing when Channing iritates so many people, I thought that was part of the show. For that amount of money you would think a reasonable upgrade would be achieved. One thing everyones keen to say whats wrong but very few if ant can actually say what would make the atraction star.

CAVE is a virtual simulation technology used by the military for training excersizes...rumor has it thta Disney is planning on using it on an "upcoming attraction" (Mission:Space)...it will provide a ride experience like no other...

Who does the voice for Figment??? Is he/she going to do the dialogue for the attraction?? Because we all know there is only ONE Figment voice .......

the original voice was provided by billy barty, who recently passed away i believe. i think i read somewhere that figment has been used on the 'house of mouse' saturday morning cartoon, and that his voice was provided by one of disney's regular voice artists (the one who did captain hook in return to neverland if memory serves.) so i would assume this person would do the voice for the new ride. never saw the show, so i don't know how close the voice was though.

Well Figment was an early favorite for me but was soon passed up when I fell in love. Belle, is without a doubt the hottest Disney character ever! (girl from Atlantis is really hot too- and Jessica Rabbit doesn't count)
