I just finished watching "Imagine". What a truly awesome movie that is. I would have to say that John Lennon was the coolest person alive. I have forever been a fan of John & Julian Lennon. When I was in high school, my best friends & I each had our favorite "dead celebrities". I was the Lennon fan & they were hooked on James Dean & Marilyn Monroe. This leads me to wonder...are we just strange & morbid, or do most people admire, adore or otherwise hold particular interest in any particular celebrity who is no longer among the living?

Yes, I'm tired, bored & basically brainless at the moment. Just humor me, k? :D

The answer is: YES. They are called IDOLS and those are the people that died on top of the hill, and as they can no longer continue, they won't fall from the summit of the mountain. In some cases, there popularity goes even higher that when they lived.

-Kurt Cobain
-2Pac
-John Lennon
-Jimi Hendrix
-The King
-Jim Morrison
-Bob Marley
-Bruce Lee

and many more which are not exactly "IDOLS" but became more famous after their death. It's a simple process. They immortalize them as figures which will never come back so what's done, it's done and nothing can change it, good or bad.
