Looks like MiceChat was right, again.

Yup. What happened to all the folks on various boards who huffed that this couldn't possibly be happening?

But it is. And on both coasts, too. The WDW folks will probably keel over and die over the thought of a holiday overlay to a classic E Ticket attraction.

I will be wearing all black today to mourn for all of the RUINED VACATIONS! this will cause.

Do we know if they'll be fairly similar on both coasts?

I know that they aren't the same ride(DLR's is better IMHO), but I'm curious if the script will be similar.
I'm planning on checking out WDW's tomorrow actually.

Yes, officially however Christmas is in full swing as of Nov 8th. Christmas parade, IASM Christmas overlay (60 minute wait too!), fireworks etc

It's not in full swing if Jingle Cruise isn't open.

In this new seasonal storyline of the attraction, the Skippers have grown homesick for the holidays, so they’ve added holiday cheer to the Jungle Cruise queue and boathouse with decorations that have been mailed to them from home (plus a few they’ve created themselves). The Skippers have also added a slew of new jokes to their tours that are the perfect way to get guests in the holiday spirit. Additionally, Jungle Cruise boats have been renamed with the holidays in mind, and if guests listen carefully, they may hear a holiday-themed radio broadcast playing in the background.

Jingle Cruise will debut on November 12 at Disneyland park. Be sure to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blogfor more updates!

It's not in full swing if Jingle Cruise isn't open.

Or Viva Navidad, or World of Color Winter Dreams, or Santa Claus appearing for photos, or the carolers on Main Street and Buena Vista Street, etc., etc.

There's so much new stuff that has to be decorated and activated and staffed in both Anaheim parks that Christmas gets kind of a rolling start over Veterans Day weekend, but officially it doesn't begin until November 12th. And even then, Viva Navidad and Winter Dreams don't start until Friday night November 15th.

But almost seven weeks of Christmas from mid November to early January is enough for me. I won't get into the Christmas spirit until around December 10th. :)

Well I rode it down at WDW. I imagine it will be a bit different at DLR.

It was cute. Decorations in the queue, Christmas Music playing during the wait, and some jokes written into the script.

The thing is though, I didn't see any decorations anywhere through out the ride. We rode at night so I may have just missed them, but it kind of shocked me that they didn't have anything.

Overall it was okay. Nothing amazing, but still a bit fun. Doesn't hold a candle to IASW Holiday or Haunted Mansion Holiday.

I rode Jingle Cruise twice yesterday. It was cute, but nothing like our other overlays. A few things added to the queue, a few holiday jokes and new boat names.

It was nice to hear a different script, but I won't be riding it as much as I ride IASW and HMH.

Tiger is still missing.
