Jim Shore Collectables?

Hi All,

I was doing some research on the net and found some new Jim Shore Disney Halloween figurines that were for pre-sale...however they mentioned that they would be released on that website earlier on like in May or June.

Does Disney release Halloween themed figurines this early? We were in Disney in September and saw them there but September makes more sense than June does.

Can't say if they'll be there in June but I know Our Local Hallmark store Carries them.....You could Google Jim Shore and see...I have quite a few of his collectables...To me the price is actually pretty good!

I've just discovered him and think he has some great figures. Just purchased my first Sorcerer Mickey (small one).

Don't know about releases as I am just discovering them, but will probably soon know as I really like them.

I too love Jim Shore! I started collecting the holiday pieces a while back. Every year my husband gets me one for Xmas. I haven't seen the Halloween pieces yet. I was in a shop at Hollywood Studios that had tons of his stuff a few weeks ago but I didn't notice any Halloween pieces yet.

Ya we just discovered him our last vacation where we picked up 3 of his pieces.

As for our local Hallmark, they have the very generic ones and don't bring in anything for holidays That's why I would love it if we got down there in June and found some Halloween items starting to filter into the stores. It's wishful thinking but maybe someone out there knows if it might happen.

I just returned from WDW and saw his pieces on display in all of the Art of Disney stores. I did notice a couple of Halloween figures, but assumed that they were "left over" from last October!!

You can always get them online too if your local stores don't bring in the holiday ones. The Jim Shore website has a lot of the holiday pieces available and will probably have more closer to that time. I just saw a picture of the jack o'lantern Mickey head. I love it!

Love his work...

We have a number of his pieces and love all of his work, especially his Disney figures. For the last few years he has made appearances in Disney World, Disneyland and on the Disney Cruiseline. I think if you check out the appearances tab on his website you can get the info. He is really personable and will sign any piece and usually launches a new one at his appearances.

We met him at the Christmas shop in DTD...

I have two of his pieces that a friend gave me for gifts. I kept reading on here about his pieces, went online to check them out and discovered that the two pieces I have are his. So....now I know! I, too, have a Jim Shore collectable - or two!
