ESPN The Weekend Star Appears at MGM

I know that people already knew he was coming, but it appears that the Seattle Seahawks' Jerry Rice was at WDW on Saturday. Here's A Quote:

<TABLE width=600><TBODY><TR><TD>(FEB. 26, 2005): Record-setting NFL wide receiver Jerry Rice, who was released yesterday by the Seattle Seahawks, greets fans today as he takes a ride

with Goofy through the Disney-MGM Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Rice is
among more than 50 sports celebrities appearing this weekend at the Walt
Disney World theme park for "ESPN The Weekend," a three-day sports
fan-fest.

I just figured I would post this for ESPN The Weekend. ~aklodge
P.S. look at Goofy's stomach! It looks like he's pregnant! JK LOL:) Sorry to say that Goofy!

Great football player! Too bad all good things must end and his football career looks to be coming to an end, after his release from Seattle this week.

Jerry Rice at the Studios makes me think of a new attraction for the Studios Park - the Michael Vick experience (remember the Nike commercial?). It would be a great addition. j/k

Yes, Rice was a great player.. And all greta things must come to an end... But, there was a Michael Vick Experience attraction somewhere... I forget where, but I remember reading it in a magazine last year, on my road trip to Disney of course... I'll look for an article on it online and post it.

I belive it was sports illustrated that had an advertisment for The Michael Vick Experience. On the back, it had directions to the georgia dome which is where the falcons play. So Im assuming its not a real ride

Rice is a legend! I miss the Montana-Rice passes. It is amazing how much longer Rice played after Montana retired. That is cool that he is relaxed at WDW.

Now that you mention it, I believe you are right. I looked online and all I found was a mockery of THE MICHAE VICK EXPERIENCE. I did a search on Yahoo for Michael Vick Experience and found the article. I don't want to post the link in fear I'll be breaking a rule here on WDWMAGIC.
