Trip Report JenniferS Is Live - 9/7/16 - 9/17/16

Hi, my name is JenniferS, and I am a Disneyholic. I have been accused of being a Pixie Dust snorter. I've been accused of worse, so no biggie.

Once we get home from a Disney trip, I am always in a bit of a funk, and never really up to doing a proper trip report. For those of you who know me, I generally post live over in Chit Chat somewhere. This is my first dedicated live trip report in the actual Trip Report Thread.

The cast:
Me. JenniferS. Just turned 49. Honestly friends, I don't know how that happened. I still feel 27. But, my passport and driver's licence insist I was born in 1967, and I have two 20-something sons, so it must be true.

This is me, on my way to work this morning. All smiles, because this is my last day of work for almost two weeks!

And this is Hubby. He is not on his way to work today, as he has been off work for 6 months. He is 48 years old and this is the first entire summer he has had off since he was 14. In 31 years together, this is only the second time I have seen him with a tan.

Goofy is his favourite character.

And last year, he was obsessed with this over-sized "Stitchie". There was no room in our luggage, but this year, I am determined to buy it for him, and bring it home by any means necessary. Actually, I'm just going to bring our big SouthWest duffel bag, and pay for an extra bag coming home.

This will be our first Disney trip, just the two of us, since 1992! :jawdrop:

Okay, that's the Who.
Coming up next - the Where.

Oie, that is a lot. One part of the trip I am not really looking forward to. Mind you the kids have their own money, not that they know yet, from their own accounts, my mother and their mother. I hope it is enough. But maybe not looking at your bill from one stop. :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:
My kids are both in their 20's. These are all clothes. For Christmas. Plus a little something for @PUSH.
But shhhhh, don't tell him.

I also got 8 of the featured "spend X $ and get Y for a special price". Solve for Y. Y = backpacks.

What the heck I'm going to do with 8 backpacks is beyond me.

Tomorrow's plans include two early throw-away FP's at Epcot, plus Frozenstrom at noon'ish.

We have to go to the Yacht Club to pick up something for my friend Dianne. We will also be trying out some treats at Ample Hills.

I spilled the beans about wanting to make it to MK for 2:30, in order to see the parade.

The afternoon will be spent at MK before walking over to the Contemporary for dinner at the Wave.

Tomorrow is actually scheduled to be an early night.
I'll probably get some merchandise pics for y'all then.

It has been nice reading/learning from your trip report. Not sure if will be able to catch the rest but will see. Traveling day tomorrow. Long traveling day tomorrow. Maybe we will bump into you if you are in MK on Friday.

Enjoy the rest of your trip if we don't see you.

Question, how are you going to get all of those backpacks back home? Especially with Stichie to have to pack as well. Or will Stichie be a carry on pillow?

Last time we were at The Wave they only had "sugar free creme brûlée". I gave it a whirl. It still had the crunchy top but it was made with some Spenda type stuff. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - it was actually pretty good - but there was a very slight funky artificial sweetener aftertaste.

EDIT: I can't believe it but I found my food photos

Where there's a will, there's a way.
Safe travels.
