I've never been to a dueling piano bar, but my husband claims he loves them. Is this a good one? We were planning on arriving at Jellyrolls at 7:30 on a Sunday night (I'm guessing they're open every day of the week...?). Would it be dead at that time? How long should we plan on being there? Although I've been to WDW numerous times, I've never been to the Boardwalk. What else should we do there? TIA

spoodles or ESPN are great places to eat.there are street performers that put a good show on.Midway style games. The dance hall if you like to dance.

Can't tell you for sure that you'll love Jellyrolls. All I can tell you is my wife and I enjoyed it a lot, and try to go each time we're in WDW and if you don't like it, it certainly won't be because the piano players weren't trying! They're not subtle background players tickling the ivories while you talk or drink, they're out there with the intent of entertaining the hell out of you, and the effort shows. Whether you'll appreciate the effort or not remains to be seen.

Sounds like fun to me... we really want to go! By the way, I love the boardwalk. We ate at ESPN and it was great. I was underage at the time so haven't tried the bars yet.

As I recall, it is a very much audience paricipation. It was the night I was there and I think you have to pay a cover - at least it was 2 or 3 years ago.

Jellyrolls is great. I have spent many a night there. 7:30 is a great time to get there. It won't be that busy and you can get a table pretty much anywhere. Every time I have been I have stayed until closing at 2:00 AM.

Jellyrolls is awesome and tons of fun. Also every pianist I have seen there has been both an amazing piano player and entertaining as well. I try to go there once every trip. The only things I would add are it is very loud and not a place to go if you want to converse with the people you're with, you will not be able to hear them most of the time. I would plan on spending atleast a couple hours there. If you are arriving at 730, I don't know if you'd want to stay til closing, just depends on how you handle the noise, personally, after a while it gives me a bit of a headache. Also as with every other place at Disney, the drinks are expensive and if I remember correctly other than maybe some nuts or popcorn, they don't serve food so make sure you eat dinner first.

Just got home from there, actually. Definitely worth checking out while on your trip here. 7:30 on a Sunday night will be very dead, so you may want to go over to ESPN, or just hang out on the boardwalk, to kill a couple hours.

As with any bar, Sunday nights are not going to be the "happening" night to go. I went there a few years ago with my sister who was in the college program. Apparently the best night to go is CM night. It's filled with people and the more the merrier. I'm sure if you're interested someone here can tell you which night is CM night.
