does anyone know if they've started any work yet over in the Amiy area? I know everything was walled off, but does any one know if there is any activity yet in the area?
i'm sure someone said on here that they moved the photo op shark out of the walled area so people could still get pictures. is this true?
any information anyone has would be cool! thanks.

I think moving the shark is definitely happening although I'm not sure it's happened yet....

I'm not sure anyone really knows when demolition will start/construction will begin I can only assume it will be soon....

They still haven't officially announced potter yet!

I'm sure some degree of demolition prep has already begun (electrical, etc.) I have no idea if we'll start to see things pick up before or after an announcement is made, but either way, I'm hoping for one soon. It annoys me to no end that they've closed an attraction (and an entire section of the park) without telling us what's replacing it.

Yes, some demolition has begun... I think they started tearing up the lagoon... The shark was still there last week, ready for a photo op... I don't think they moved him yet...

Have they emptied the lagoon and pulled the sharks out?

So what is going in that space?

Nothing officially announced yet but the rumor is, and all signs point to more Harry Potter... London scene with an entrance to Diagon Alley and a new ride based on Gringott's Bank which is rumored to be better than Forbidden Journey...

That sounds cool. We are taking two nights at USF in August after our Disney trip. Really looking forward to doing something different.

You know, I wish someone that lived in the apartments right behind the Jaws area cared enough about this stuff to take pictures.

Maybe ill take some tonight. I live there and work at uni. But the lagoon isfilled in and nothings really left of the attraction itself safe from the light house and boathouse.

Since its dark now I will take them in the morning. But yes its filled and on my way home it looked like the boathouse and lighthouse were taken out today.

Can't wait to see your pictures... I have seen some pictures of a backhoe ripping out cement... Someone said that was part of the lagoon...
