Right then.... thought I'd get the ball rolling for the team. We don't even know what land we have to do yet (I know which one I'm hoping for), but we need to at least come up with a team name before we start thinking of a weenie.

Any ideas?

My idea for a team name is the Mickey Mouse Club, if Jasonflz is a boy, or the Minnie Mouse Club, if Jasonflz is a girl.

We should all be thinking of what land we have in mind (Dinoland OR Asia) and any ideas we have and wait until Jasonflz comes and post them,once we see what direction he wants to take,and how he wants to do the project. We also need to see which land the other team will pick,we get the other one. But,it's good to start working on both.

Does anyone have any ideas that jump out to them?

Maybe we should get some clarification on exactly what it is we are designing... Is Spaceship Earth a Weeny? I'm going to guess Cinderella's Castle is one...

Anything that draws you in is a weenie. It could be something as big as the Tree of Life, or as little as theMountain of Big THunder Mountain, or the Astro Oribiter

We are asking you to make a weenie for the land, your is DinoLand.

You DONT HAVE to place anything in it, BUT if you wish to it can be anythign bigger than a walkthrough of a shop. Nothing of ATTRACTION caliber (ie, no ride, or restaruant, or show)

I'm not sure what we should build, but I have thought about where... What about in the water near Nemo. The walkways and areas in DinoLand contain a lot of weenies as it is, and they are very crowded. I think putting something in the water might be the way to go.

I like the Goofy's Brainstormers name! And yeah I agree with Fractal about Dinoland being my least favourite area- I had started drawing up a rough sketch for an Africa weenie. That'll teach me to get ahead of myself!

Dinoland is a VERY cramped area,the water idea might be best.

If we do that,we'd have to watch sightlines from Asia near EE. There is a cove near Theater in the Wild across the walkway,it wouldn't be seen from Asia there.

Or,across from that near TitW,there is a walkway with space on either side. Something could go here,even if it went over the walkway.

For the weenie itself,what about an abstract structure featuring multicolored dinos and some trees.:shrug: It could work in both places. Just trying to get an idea out there. What do you guys think?

We could do a take on the Tree of Life called the Tree of Extinction. Instead of real animals on the trunk, prehistoric animals (dinosaurs, mammoths, etc) would be there. At the top, Chester and Hester could do a radio station caled 65M.A, meaning 65 million years ago. This could also stand as a homage to the Radio Disney River Cruise.

A new show based on the TV show Dinosaurs called Dinosaurs -Live! would be inside the trunk of the tree. This could also call for a revival of the show.

What do you think?


PS, how about the Yew Nork Yankees as a team name. This would also be a reference to Cosmic Ray's hometown.

I was picturing a series of arches with the dinos.

I think we should give team member until tonight/early tomorrow to get here and give their in put before we decide. What do you think?
