I think you can edit titles of new threads you've created, but I'm not sure about 10 year old threads.

Haha, I thought you couldn't at first, but I didn't realize the 'edit title' thing is up top in 'thread tools.' So yes, it can be done - but the lovely thread bumper @Laura doesn't want me to change it.

It's been around for a couple months at least. I think, not sure though, that it became available when Steve was doing all the upgrades (new emoticons, new formatting box, draft saving, etc) not too long ago.
