Yes, yes there is. Through the Looking Glass or something to that effect I thought it was. There's actually going to be an Alice 2?

The fact that Cameron and Iger think Avatar is in any way relevant shows there is a LOT of pride and ego involved.I agree who wins in that battle, both sides lose tickets sales to the other. Unless stupid pride gets in the way they should open separately.

Oh great. Those are exactly the ingredients that made Eisner's reign so successful right?
There's actually going to be an Alice 2?
People so easily forget. Eisner built the modern Walt Disney Company. It was a struggling entertainment company when he took over. Credit his reign for the WDW we love today, it is largely unchanged.
By the way... Passion and creativity were big ingredients on what made Eisner very successful. Very successful. Those two ingredients are what is missing from this current crop of executive leadership.
Avatar 2 will be more of an event film. Making a spin off movie that has no impact on progressing the new series won't come even close to Avatar 2

At least it was during the early years. But the later years was definitely when massive egos began to clash and the company suffered for it.
Most great CEO's run their course. Michael Eisner was a great CEO.
Eisner's passion and ego were both attributable to his success and contributed to his ouster.
Are you his former secretary or something?
I'm saying the there's going to be a huge difference between the box office numbers for Episode 7 and the spin off film. It will probably only pull 50% of what Episode 7 makes. Episode 7 is a event film and I think that film will make more than Avatar 2 but not the spin off filmWhile I stop laughing.... Avatar is the event film whereas Star Wars is not?
So the masses of Avatar fans will turn out time and time again? They don't exist.
The first one was a phenomenon. I enjoyed it too, but it has evaporated from the social consciousness.
if I had to bet I would bet Star wars 7 would make more but it wouldn't shock me if Avatar made moreI'm saying the there's going to be a huge difference between the box office numbers for Episode 7 and the spin off film. No. Nice try. Did he kick your family's dog or something?
I don't understand why Disney fans, and more specifically Disney World fans, would harbor such ill will toward the man largely responsible for the place they love. The expectations his tenure created in the form of new development from 1989 - 1999 will never be matched in quality or quantity in the Florida Disney Parks again.
Why are you carrying water for Iger? Your Mom his Secretary?
Well yeah. SWVII will probably make more than the original Avatar. Calling $3b right now.I'm saying the there's going to be a huge difference between the box office numbers for Episode 7 and the spin off film. It will probably only pull 50% of what Episode 7 makes.
