James Bond... your opinion.

While I don't like LMA, I wouldn't call it the worst attraction on property.

LMA > Beauty and the Beast, Great Movie Ride with a bad host (it's not even close with a decent host), Playhouse Disney (unless you're a kid or have kids) and probably some other stuff I've purged from my memory.

I MIGHT actually like it more than our version of Fantasmic!, but that's just how much I hate Pocahantas.

Funny how you've left Sounds Dangerous off of that list...:ROFLOL: But GMR? Oh well. At least I won't have to waste my energy trying to entertain you there. :sohappy:

PS. You must really not like MGM if that is the only park you can find on property to say LMA is better than...

I am almost as big of a James Bond fan as I am Disney. I would love to see some kind of ride/attraction regarding James Bond.

However, I don't feel it fits at Disney. It would fit in more with Universal Studios. Has too much of a teenage/adult theme to be in the Disney.

If they were to do some kind of spy hero type attraction like Bond, it would make more sense to already do a Disney property; The Incredibles. They could do a really cool Spiderman Universal type ride.

James Bond and Disney is not a good match.

What!? It isn't like I'm saying place a James Bond attraction in the center of Fantasyland :lookaroun ! This is MGM, a theme park dedicated to HOLLYWOOD ENTERTAINMENT! Lord people... :brick:

Plus, I am one of those people that think an Indiana Jones RIDE/ATTRACTION, would go great in AK.

P.S. I'm not talking about a show for Bond. Yes I agree, I would much rather have an Indy show than Bond, as for ride: NO. There's are Indy rides, no Bond ones.

P.S.S. I like this topic :hammer:

I was recently researching the Indiana Jones - Epic Stunt Spectacular on Wikipedia.org, and it stated that the show’s original concept, was a James Bond attraction.

Without being negative to you but Wikipedia is worth nothing and certainly not based on resaearch or anything... because Wikipedia is made BY people like you and I...
Anyone could add something to Wkipedia

Wikipedia is what you would call a “twenty-four-hour confirmation system.” Meaning that all of the information submitted to the site, will be confirmed within less than twenty-four hours. If the information cannot be confirmed, it will be deleted.

Gotta disagree with you on that one. The Indy rides are the kind of things that are pure Disney. The sense of adventure is unparalleled, and I would much rather have an Indy ride than a Bond ride.

Also there are Bond Simulators in other parks. I've seen one at King's Dominion a couple of years ago.

Anyways hasn't the bond franchise completely shifted to the Sony studios and out of MGM's Control? correct me if i am wrong.

mgm is sony now - more the pity :( the deterioration of american cinema is sad.... througout the 40's through to the 90's (well 80's really) hollywood were churning out excellent pieces of work. Since all the studios are being snapped up - there isnt much left

sorry - pseudo rant there :zipit:

Agreed. Thank goodness for Turner Classic Movies. It's wearing out my PVR. I walk over to Blockbuster and can find very little worth renting. My favourite movie stars right now are Cary Grant, Errol Flynn and Ronald Reagan!

My understanding is that MGM would not give Disney the rights to 007. It's likely that Disney originally had something in mind for Bond in case they did get the rights. Also, original plans at Disneyland called for a Young Indy Stunt Show before the ride ever went in. So they put it (a senior version) at MGM.
