Jambo or Kidani? Pros and Cons?

Jambo WAS Animal Kingdom Lodge when the property first opened. Then when they built Kidani they renamed the building to Jambo, and called the joint complex Animal Kindgom Lodge.

Jambo IS the main resort.

To answer the broader question with my personal opinion... Animal Kingom Lodge is my absolute favorite resort on property but I wouldn't stay at Kidani under any circumstances. The lack of a QS dining option is a complete deal-breaker and the lobby is extremely underwhelming.

DVC add on...minimal services/expenses with maximum units.

Just like bay lake and grand Floridian.

Jambo is, however, very nice. Sanaa and the pool area are wayyyy better than they do for DVC these days.

Bay Lake and VGF are much more integrated into their overall resorts, though. I don't evaluate them based on their stand-alone offerings, they're more add-on buildings to the comprehensive Contemporary and Grand Floridian properties. Kidani, on the other hand, is extremely inconvenient if you want to access the Jambo amenities.

Kinda apples to oranges as far as integration...there’s an elephant in the room

To be honest: bay lake might be the worst DVC considering all factors
