A rare event.
George and I are spending Christmas Eve alone.
I'm just about finished in the kitchen (we eat buffet style on Christmas, so everything pretty much got cooked today) so I'm pretty free to just relax.
What're your plans for tonight?

We do the same, cooking everything the day before.
The girls and their guys are coming over tomorrow, yes?

After church we have dinner (filet mignon and baked potatoes :slurp:), bake cookies, watch a movie, and open one present. I think this year's movie is Get Smart.

I just ate a turkey sandwich that I didn't want.
We have ham and turkey and I'm not a big fan of either one, but it's what we do!

Yes, the girls and guys come tomorrow and I cannot wait.

I'm not a huge fan of turkey. It's always too blah.
Ham though, is good.

I got around to seeing everyone. Went to DL on Friday, did my last minute shopping as a family, and went ice skating with my friends in the afternoon and as a family at night.

I love being home.

Sounds absolutely perfect.
You're very blessed to have a family you want to come home to.
Not everyone feels that way once they leave.
