:( I'm sorry Steph.

And no, I worked yesterday and today, get the rest of the week off... and then work next Monday and Tuesday, rest of that week off... back to back 2 day weeks... pretty exciting!

Except I still have a good amount of Christmas shopping left to do... :o
Wow, I want your schedule! Well, except that starting next Tuesday I'm off for 2 weeks. And Monday I'm only working until noon. :D:king: *preens*

So, you gonna finish up your shopping tonight or are you going to be one of those Christmas Even shoppers?

Gonna try to finish up on lunch today....

I still have to buy my sister and my mom gifts... so it's not bad...

and i think I know what I'm gonna get them...

I'm generally a perrenial all-star gift buyer... simply always come up with some of the best, most original ideas for people... but I never got into the christmas spirit this year unfortunately... So I'm trying to come up with original and good ideas... but I'll probably just go with the easy gifts (things they asked for... hahaha :o)

I've had a tough time getting into the Christmas spirit this year too. With not being able to be home for it for the first time and DH's family being Jewish...it's just not the same this year.

So what are you guys doing on Christmas Day?

It's just the four of us all together that day. :) I usually bake something special for breakfast and we watch the Disney parade on ABC.

Disney parade is an every-year must no matter where we are. :) Then DH has a surprise event planned for me that day. I'd mentioned a long time ago that I would love to see the Radio City Christmas show so I'm thinking it might be that. :)

:hurl:  I want to feel unyucky again

Morning

Gah. I never had morning(or all day, as the case may be) sickness with my two (did I mention I have TWO kids?) but I had other yucky feelings...heartburn, insomnia, pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. But that wasn't until the third trimester. Now that I've given you something to look forward to...

I am sorry you're not feeling well, honey. Pregnancy IMHO can be a lttle less than fun. My only advice is to work it for all it's worth.

Ooh, that would be fun! You'll have to let us know. :)

I mentioned to Joel that Santa is coming in two days - and he was like, Santa??????!!!!!! I asked him if he was being good, he said 'yes'.....I asked him then if he was being naughty, he said 'yes'

Oh, and FUNNY story to share at our get together at my mom's....he could hardly stand having to wait until everyone had eaten to open presents. He located his and kept touching it, being scolded, no you have to wait, blah blah blah. Well, he managed to tear a little bit of the paper and announced to the room 'It's working! It's working!' :ROFLOL::ROFLOL:And my sis said, look at that it's falling out! Everyone's laughing....so what can you do at that point? Mom said it was the best part of the day. :D

Speaking of Jewish...made cupcakes for Em's holiday party at school today, and wanted to decorate them with Christmas trees and Menorahs. But, um, Menorahs are a little hard to draw with icing so we did the Star of David instead. I don't normally associate the Star of David with Channukah but we wanted to include both holidays...so I hope that's okay?

I'm just glad that I've only actually gotten sick a couple of times. It's the constant state of nausea that's getting really old. :brick:

No, I think it's ok. Alot of the Channukuh cards I've seen have the Star of David on them.

Joel is my hero!!!! Loved the newsletter...I still love the reaction of the guy in the background of the Joel and Minnie pic. And reading at grade level...lots of kids can't do that, regardless.

That's my favorite pic too. :)

Jack is absolutely entitled to spoiling right now :D - it's not too long before they don't want to be held for any reason, it might slow them down.

Cool! Thanks.

Wait 'til you get old like me, with wrinkles AND pimples.

Well, Good Lord, I am not exactly a bucket of cheer this morning!

Don't forget the grey hair. :lookaroun

How could I have failed to mention it! My one (please God let it stay that way) grey hair is kinda cute...or so I tell myself.

On the subject of siggys:

Steph and Jen, those are two of my favorite quotes in the whole world.

Okay, Wee Jack is asleep. The child has developed a small flat spot on his head which I am actively trying to correct. This is tough as I either have to put him in the baby blocks at night or nap him on his belly during the day, which means i am constantly hovering over him and getting nothing done. The flat spot is on his right side, which he favors.

Okay, so...

Want to know how I know Jack is a Republican?

(((wait for it)))

'Cause he leans to the right!

Obviously I need more sleep. :lookaroun
