A bunch of us from our hall went down to get free hot chocolate and cookies. Our dorm was making it a little study break. We go downstairs and it's CANCELLED.

My night is ruined.

I know me too :D. I wish so desperately I could take the odd days off next week. :xmas: Oh well. I miss having set vacation, so I can just say I would like to use my Paid Days Off for these days. Oh well small company. They let me go to Disney in October so I am not complaining.

It's going to be a busy next couple weekends for us so I'm wishing I could take a couple days off too. Buuuut considering in less than 2 weeks I'm going to be OFF for 2 weeks I suppose I shouldn't complain. :rolleyes: This weekend we're going to be down at our friends' place in Jersey for the weekend. Then next weekend, DH has informed me, that WE are hosting Hannukah with his parents & BIL/SIL and that he told them that they didn't need to bring anything that I would make everything. :eek::shrug: I have no idea what to make for a Jewish holiday meal...I'M CHRISTIAN! :lol: Nevermind that we don't have a dining room table (or dining room, for that matter)...we have a tall pub-type table that seats 2, not 6. :veryconfu Besides that we leave for our honeymoon the NEXT DAY so we have to be getting ready/packed for that in the next week. Oy vey!!! :hammer::rolleyes::brick:

Oh goodness Steph! I would have no idea what to make either. I have the same space issue, I really really wanted to have my family over to my apartment for a little get together but there is just not enough room for everyone. That's the one good thing about my old apartment, it was huge.

But YAY for your 2 week honeymoon vacation! After the holidays that will be a nice treat!

And let us not forget...that I CAN'T COOK! :lol::hammer::rolleyes: DH's family knows this, though, so I'm sure their expectations won't be too high.
