I've been better. Things are more insane than usual around here.
Mom's going in for knee surgery on thursday and I'm doing my best to get everything ready for the holidays before then. She's staying with us for a few days until she can manage better by herself.
How are you feeling these days?

I'll keep your mom in my prayers for her surgery hopefully she will have a quick recovery. I am still so behind on my Christmas shopping I need the weather to get a little better here so I can finish up this week.
I am feeling better today...so far so good.

It was alright. It's so cold and wet outside couldn't really do much walking around. Had a yummy soup & 1/2 a sandwich, though so...:shrug:
I tried to take it kind of easy since we have our office "party" this afternoon. It's amazing how much it's changed just in 2 years. 2 years ago it was this major production at this HUGE conference center with Maroon 5 playing. This year it's a 2 hour "reception" here at the office.
But with all of the layoffs and everything I'm surprised they're doing anything at all.

Wow that is a big difference, but everyone has been cutting back this year. Apparently except for my boss who had a party at his house for work (13 including dates) last Saurday and gave away crazy gifts [not joking] a Wii, an IPod, a TV, GPS Systems, Gift Cards, DVD Players etc. Of course I didn't win anything big
but it was still fun. And I did get $50 GC from Best Buy towards my Purple IPod. For our other office in MS they are giving away and XBox, GPS and Gift Cards (there aren't as many people.)

Wow! that's a lotta stuff!
marc's holiday party is this friday. It's at the B&O train museum. Which is a neat place to visit, but is always FREEZING. And of course the women will all be dressed up in skimpy little cocktail outfits. Just once I want to wear something warm to one of these events!

Just finished baking 3 1/2 dozen choc. chip cookies and almost 2 dozen lemon truffles. :sohappy:

I used to SOB at diaper commercials when I was pregnant. I'm normally a sap to begin with, but I couldn't even watch TV at points because I'd tear up at the littlist things.

Please tell me I'm not the only freak who reconized Ted's sister as Erin from the WDW Planning Video? :lookaroun I hope we get to see more of his sister this season. I've always liked her.
Also, at the end, where Marshall was doing karaoke and Robin asked what song he was going to do and then they cut to him singing Let's Go to the Mall...classic!!! Just loved it! "Everybody!!!" And then they all joined in... :ROFLOL:
