So, I have my 2nd doc appointment today. Someone had told me that on your 2nd appointment you get to hear the heartbeat on a Doppler thingery. So I called my doc's office to see if that's the case and they said yes as long as you're over 10 weeks. I'm 10 weeks 1 day today so I think that counts!! :sohappy::sohappy:

Steph--at my second appt they did an ultrasound instead of the doppler. The first time I had the doppler was at my last appt (16 weeks). Although I think they did that so my doctor could bill for the ultrasound

It was pretty good. We just had our office Christmas party and I tried to get some shopping done. :dazzle: I am going to finish up this week during the week so it's not so bad.

My dr has a small ultrasound machine (very small picture). I have to go to the hospital for my real ultrasound.....which is today and I finally got DH to agree to find out what is growing inside of me :sohappy:.

I feel good, but I always get nervous right before an appointment. I'll feel much better once I know everything is ok.

So I went to the grocery store today and bought bags of white chocolate chips, peppermints, flour, brown sugar and many other items of a baking nature. Now I'm off to fold the week's laundry and watch Christmas movies while doing so. I'll try to stop back in later today :wave:
