What happens when you try to go online?

I can access internet fine..but for example, every time I try to post here, a little pop-up screen comes up asking my permission to continue. In addition, if I try to view something on youtube, or try to bring up a website that uses Adobe flash player, that's when I get the notice that it can't load. One message stated that the Adobe flash ran on a 32-bit browser, and mine is 64-bit. Adobe hasn't caught up, I guess.

The thing about permission is part of Vista. That's yet another reason why people hate Vista so much.
You might want to check on the Adobe site about the other problem - there might be some kind of download that will help.

I have vista on my laptop, but it doesn't do this all the time there. The only advice Adobe gave me was to slow my browser down? How in the blazes am I supposed to do that?

Jen, could those be monitor settings, rather than browser settings?

Try this: Right click on your desktop, go to personalize, then Display settings. Change from 64 to 32.

Edit - oops, too late....
