It's the BIG 40! Celebrating Disney Style! (PTR)

Good Morning to all my WDW Magic Friends,

I feel like I planned this celebratory trip so long ago and now it is finally here. Our original plans were quite different than what we ending up with but, it all worked out pretty wonderful, I think.

My 39th year has been pretty spectacular and turning 40 can only be even more awesome!

I am blessed with a beautiful family and they will all be traveling with me let me introduce you:

Sue (39) - That would be me... I work in NYC as a secretary for a very interesting State Agency. In the afternoon and evenings I teach yoga. I love my work; I am a very lucky gal!

John (49) - My Hubby! We married 5 years ago! He is my best friend and partner in crime. He swears he doesn't like Disney as much as I do but, he wears a Disney t-shirt every day to work. Granted he is retired and now works from home but, he wears them non-the-less.

MOM (65) – Mom is cool, my best bud. Retired and takes care of my 91 year old grandma. She is really looking forward to this vacation and spending time with the kids.

DAD (69) – Retired and walks about 12 miles every day. He is truly my hero. There is no one on this planet like him.

Joe (41) – My big brother. Sometimes I wonder who is the bigger Disney fan, him or me? We both share the love of the world! His one goal in life, that his 3 princesses actually 4 are happy.

Nicole (4?) – My beautiful sister-in –law. Poor dear, is not the biggest fan but certainly has the patience to deal with the both me and my brothers crazy enthusiasm.

The Nieces… All I will say is that they are beautiful and will be known as D6, D9,D13…. They are the coolest nieces anyone can ask for. They all have big beautiful personalities and I can’t wait to see their reactions to some of the surprises we have in store for them.

Grace (65) – This is my brothers Godmother and my Mom’s childhood best friend. There is no way we can travel down to WDW without her!

Travel Dates:
August 26 through September 1

On arrival day I have pixie septors and Tiars being delivered to the 3 Princesses via Disney Florist and a bottle of champagne being delivered to each room.

Getting There:
I am Flying with John, Mom, Dad and Grace
My Brother and his family are driving

Tickets:
7 day park hopper

Dining Plan:
YES

My brother owns DVC and will be spending the week at the Beach Club Villas.

The rest of us will be at the Board Walk Inn, Club Level.

All of our Table Service Reservations have been accounted for. We plan on winging our Quick Service options. So far, this is where we stand:

Day one is coming to a close. Despite the rain we had a blast in the Magic Kingdom. We ate at Cindy's Table tonight. The character interaction was awesome the food was certainly forgettable. Kudos to our server he was really great. The girls had a great time and that's all that matters. We are skipping fireworks tonight, we have the fireworks dessert party on Friday and will have our fill then. We have been up since 3:30 am and are comfortable saying good night to a day filled with magic and pixie dust.

We don't know what the weather holds for tomorrow but we will play it all by ear! Good night WDW Magic!

Great to hear things are going well!

And yeah the food is rarely the highlight at CRT!

Glad you had a magical trip.So your sad eh! It's been 4 weeks since I got back and Iam still in Disney depression land.And thanks to Mr Crush and his superb food report,Iam now on the verge of suicide( relax,joking ) but it's the memories that make it when you look at your photos & vacation video.:)

Dont be sad. I know the last day is always the hardest but just think you can start planning your next trip as soon as you get home. Glad to hear you had a great trip! Hope you have a safe flight home. Cant wait to read your trip report. :)

Welcome home!!!!!! I saw a few pics of your unbirthday LOL (that sounds so wrong lol) and your gorgeous Illuminations Cruise. You were beaming!!!! I am so happy you had a good time, we were all worried your celebration would have been hampered by that nasty storm. Can't wait to read your trip report!!!!!!
