First of all, hello everyone, I am back from my WDWMAGIC sabatical
. I will be posting regularly again!Anyway, I completely agree. The Christmas season just cannot start without watching Christmas Vacation. We put it on every year when we are putting up the tree.
Also, it just isn't Christmas until this little beat up, worn out, bird ornament (that was passed down from my great grandfather) is on the tree.
We have all kinds of other weird traditions too, but I won't bore you with all of them!! :lol:
It's not Christmas for me unless I watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation of course! Gotta love it! Best Christmas movie of them all!
It's also not Christmas until I get the JCPenny Christmas catalog as well as the Toys R Us Big Toy Book! :lol: (Just kidding about the Toys R Us)
The one ornament I must make sure is on our tree every year is an ornament, of course in the ball shape, it's a creme color with Goofy hanging stockings up on a fireplace....i've had it for years, since I was like 8 or something, and every year I make sure that it's on there.....last year couldn't find it in the huge box with Christmas ornaments, man I went on a rampage looking for it, but finally found it in a box with Christmas decorations thankfully.

Now I know its starting to get near Christmas...the ladies at work are starting to ask my DH what I'm going to bake for them...have had a request for an EggNogg cheescake already.

Mom is yellin' at dad to clean the yard up...and bring chairs up from the basement or down from the attic, and mom is yellin' at you to clean up your room, bathroom, etc. because you should've known and it should've already been done!
and then there's the response from you...
"Mom, it's MY room...nobody should be in MY room anyway!"
