A couple of general observations.

  • Far fewer ECVs than I anticipated seeing.
  • That being said, to the old bag on the ECV speeding to the bus stop at downtown Disney that almost ran over my son who was walking hand in hand next to me and rolled your eyes at us, I would imagine drinking a margarita while driving your ECV is prolly not the safest thing to do.
  • Far too many parents attempting to reason with their children in melt down mode. Swat the backside, release their pent up tension, move on.
  • Helpful hint: don't look a different direction than you are walking. If you are stationary, look the direction you are going to walk prior to walking.
  • The Joffrey's Whiskey Sour Lemonade is quite tasty

Where do we find the Wiskey Sour Lemonade?

Lunch at Chefs de France

Daughter had this fizzy OJ drink. Rather tasty.

French onion soup is always a good choice.

Burger was good. That's half of it. It's huge. Easily enough to split among a couple of people.
image.jpg

Sorbet was awesome. Amongst those fresh berries are coconut, mango, and strawberry sorbets.

Now off to DAK to catch the nemo musical.

We headed to DAK. As we were exiting the nemo musical it was down poring. Being drenched we decided to head back to the resort early. Rest for our last two days in the parks.

Some pics from today.

I really used to enjoy this show. This time it was just meh. I found myself wondering how the performers bring themselves to do the same thing day after day after day.

Today we headed back to the MK for our last time in the park this trip. :(

We rode 7DMT standby. Sign said 70 minutes but it took only an hour. The queu is really nicely done and after going through it I can see why it may have taken as long to build as it did. I will post more pics later but what really impressed me was the "rock/concrete" work. The pics below are part of the queu close to the entrance to the inside portion of the attraction. What appears to be rough cut logs is actually concrete work. I couldn't find any indication that a mild or form was used so I think it was all done by hand.

Yep. That's all rock/concrete.

We then caught the afternoon parade then lunch at Plaza Restraunt. I will say that the Briskett Onion burger is by far the burger I have had on property.

I will post more pics of 7D and the parade later.

Our lunch at Chefs was one of the highlights of our trip. Actually had a bunch of great experiences in France pavilion this year but I'm going to save that for my own trip report. This is all about you....and churros of course...lots and lots of churros.

@George I be luvin' me some Orangina too! One of the many awesome food\drink related memories of growing up EYE-talian.

Last day at the world is spent a Epcot. Crowds are much lighter than I expected for a Friday. Rode SE and Journey into Someone's Imagination on FP. I grabbed this photo because all of the sudden I realized only two of the three people shown created what they were recognized for. The third abducted Figment.

A little snack in Norway.

The turf invades Epcot.

Always love this show.
