It's freezing here in Central Illinois - currently -13 with wind chill and still dropping. We are under a wind chill advisory until late tomorrow morning. We are to wake up to a balmy possibly -40 with wind chill. Ouch. I really need to move back to SoCal or retire to Florida!

Same here in southwest Wisconsin. Our night into mid morning we have a wind chill advisory with the wind chill between -35 and -25. I hate winter. Oh so much. My upcoming Disney vacation is the only thing keeping me from freezing to death.

That sounds like Cincinnati OH weather. Our weather is always up and down. Never consistent. When we hit spring, we go directly into summer.

This is the most inconsistent winter I've ever had. And there's some pretty crazy winter weather here in Wisconsin!!

We chose California over Florida just because California has the massive music festival we are going to. Florida being only a 2 hour flight and having my favorite theme parks and the Keys, I'll be visiting there a lot more often. I needed to get the music festival trips out of the way before I outgrow my tolerance for being around people who go to music festivals. With this done I just have my solo Alaska trip and Amsterdam to go and I finished my "trips to do before getting married" list. Then its back to WDW.
Now back to the weather: Its back in the 20s and teens here. Wind Chill has been relentless. However, my flannel lined jeans arrived from LL Bean and they work wonders in this weather. I need to find dress pants with the stuff, then I'll be set to ride out this weather.
