It's a Small World and Jungle Cruise down for maintenance beginning September 16th. IASW reopening Nov. 15th apparently with holiday overlay.

Kick in the balls for first time trippers. I really don't get why they announce maintenance with practically no notice. Just another reason I appreciate OLC for giving 3 - 6+ month notices.

So basically no critter country still and 2 major attractions are down. JC apparently is rumored to be a 3 week refurb. I get they're preparing for the 70th but I feel like there's just so much down at the park lately.

It's good there's maintenance but this spontaneous schedule is just irritating.

At least the Small World piece of this is pretty standard at this time every year.

DL does tend to announce things like this more last minute. I remember our first trip having to reschedule our trip last minute because they surprised me with an Indy refurb. DLR is just more geared toward locals who come all the time so they tend not to announce as far ahead as WDW does.

Boy I picked the wrong time to come back to Disneyland.

I am there for a week starting Sept 17th, and so far my list of ‘closed’ experiences is -
Small World
Jungle Cruise
Indiana Jones Adventure
Magic Happens Parade

🤔

But ya know what?
I will still have a great time.
Disneyland has a LOT of things to do and see, and although I will miss experiencing these three favorites this visit I will likely enjoy some others in their place.
But it is still a shame to miss these gems.

Going September 29th for that whole week and I’m so frustrated with all the closures. They really screw all the out of state travelers with these short notice closures.

Indiana Jones should be open by the 17th at least.

Yeah. They should really take into account all the people coming from out of state when they want to refurbish their rides.

What’s going on with IASW that it needs two months this year? Must be a refurb in addition to the conversion to Holiday.
