Italian Restaurant Suggestion?

I hadn't been to Tony's in MK since I was a kid (like 30 years). We tried it the other day and actually really liked it! I kept hearing about how bad it was but we enjoyed it. The garlic bread was soo good and I really loved my Tortellini al Forno! Service was excellent too.
Yes they definitely changed for the better in the last 2-3 years - changed menu and from the taste of it - whoever leads culinary there

If you're from the North East, you're use to a time locked version of what Southern Italian food adapted to local availability of ingredients were available.

Pretty much spot on, and I am from the Northeast. In reality, it is about 80% red sauce places around here, and 20% that are innovative and different. (and maybe 2% that are fronts - my wife insists that one of the restaurants we go to is a front. How can they afford what boils down to like 2 waiters per table, as well as those giant floral centerpieces?)

Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk. We’ve only had breakfast here but it was delicious. We sat outside; its was wonderful! The Italian iced coffee is so good.
