1. MCO............love it!!..............welcome home!!
2. The Bee Line (as long as it's not too congested :-) )
3. Checking in to the hotel and seeing the excitement in my kids faces.
4. The POOL!!
5. Monorail ride
6. The MAGIC KINGDOM!!
7. I love the feeling I get just being there.........takes me back to when I was a kid and my first trip there (1978) and every year after.
8. Crystal Palace breakfast
9. When my daughter was finally tall enough for RnR..........YEAH!! Her face, PRICELESS.
10. My son (now 17) still gets a little "freaked" in the boiler room at ToT!! I still love to watch him "hustle" through until he gets to the elevator... he-he!

I could keep going and going, and going.......................... but I'm afraid I'd take up way too much room!

I always look forward to...

-Walking out of the house at 4:30am and its still dark out, loading the car, and off to the airport.
- Landing at MCO, and off to DME check-in, and getting on that bus!
- Driving through the gates, and seeing all those purple & black signs stating which way each park or resort is.
-Walking thru those lobby doors at the resort with that cold, fresh air smacking us right in the face.
- Getting to the first park Epcot or MK
- Nights at any of the parks, just walking around & taking our time with everything...i love that!
- DTD during the evening hours is def. the best thing to look forward to. Spending hours in The World of Disney giftshop, having icecream at Giordelli's, sitting by the lake, and I am realllly looking forward to those boat rides from POR...being that it will be our first time staying there so that seems real nice.

I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

This will be quite a trip this time. After 15 visits to WDW we will be driving, hopefully my wife will fall asleep and I can drive alot longer so we get there sooner, coming from NJ. We have just about everything ready, roof bag rented, travel fridge we got back in 01, ( AND IT STILL WORKS!!!) :animwink: car checked and looked over and ready for the trip. Downloading music for CD's to listen to. We just need to see our first Florida palm tree and smell of the area and that's all we'll need. We leave friday evening, between 6 and 7pm. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!:sohappy: :sohappy:

My mom and i just had this conversation the other day. We drive down from Toronto, Ontario, which takes about 22 hours. The best part is going down the highway and seeing all the green disney signs... then passing the actual welcome sign/gate thing. Then the buses coming into view and those purple signs with the black ears. Followed by us having to keep our cool in the lobby until we get into our room and can commence the screaming.

The smell of the Beach Club lobby is the best. So excited. Seriously.

Most of the things everyone mentioned are the same things I usually love/remember the most. My favorite though, is when its super hot outside and you leave an air conditioned building to go outside...that reminds me of WDW. Leaving the hotel early in the morning and it's really cold in the lobby and when the doors open the heat hits you..lolol

Some of my favorite "firsts" when going to WDW . . .

* the first step across the resort threshold, escpecially during the holidays.
* the first pressed-pot of coffee at Boma.
* the first look up Mainstreet to Cinderella's Castle
* the first Dos Equus in another sad attempt to, well, you know.
* the first night of fine dining -- last trip, Citricos. (Excellent!!)
* my first sighting of DiVine.
* the first sunset over Seven Seas Lagoon.
* the first towel animal after a long day wandering the World.

And, when you finally get back to the ol' homestead, the "first" time you check in on these boards and discover you miss the World already.

Time to start planning . . .

I love getting out the airport and driving under the WDW sign and seeing the "Polynesian Next Right" sign. Pulling up to the Great Ceremonial House and clapping and giggling in the car. The feeling you get when they hand you your room key and tell you to have a "magical stay". Taking a loop around the resort monorail just to check things out. The smell of the Contemporary lobby when the doors of the monorail open. The "Por favor mantegase alejado de las puertas' :) I always like walking by the Main Street Barber shop on the first day and the rounding the corner and seeing the castle.
I can go on and on...

I've been to WDW on Vacation at least 15 times, plus I worked there for 4 months on the college program, and I've been to DL once.

I love checking in, and taking my time to get to the Magic Kingdom on the first day, I used to love to rush, but the later you get their the better parking spot you can get usually. I stay till they force me to leave on the first night, and in the last two hours I get on a ton of rides.

The feeling when I start to walk up under the train station is unbelievable and to see the castle is just breathtaking.

I'll usually stop at either Casey's or the Bakery to grab a bite to eat while walking towards adventure land.

Then it's off to POTC, and just standing in that line is amazing.

The feel of the first fastpass in your hand, for me it's usually Splash Mountain.

I always look foreward to Wishes on that first night too.

Going to the Polynesian no matter where I am staying. I love to get something to eat either at Ohana or the Kona Cafe.

Spending time in Epcot.

Getting to the studios early in the morning to ride ToT and RNRC.

Stopping after my first round on them to have a Danish from the cart after the ToT gift shop.

Eating at Pizza Planet.

Spending some time in the Star Tours store.

Eating at Liberty Tree.

Walking in to Animal Kingdom.

Seeing the Yeti.

I look forward to...

Playing golf at Magnolia or Palm courses and hearing the train whistle from Magic Kingdom. I will be playing both courses in a couple weeks.

Cable Car Sundae at Ghirardelli's at Downtown Disney Marketplace. I still miss the name Village Marketplace...

Adventurer's Club....

Riding the monorail, baby!

Even though this will be my 15 or 16th time going to WDW, I will look forward to this next one for the very first time: Eating mushroom risotto at Le Cellier. And I made reservations for Le Cellier TWICE! Woot!

Hearing, "Welcome Home".
