Pre-Trip It bodes well for me if speed impresses you

In what possibly (and I stress "possibly"), may be the quickest return to WDW that even the exalted @Tuvalu may not have achieved, I will be returning to the parks!

My return from my most recent trip will be 28 days. I will await @Tuvalu 's response to know if she has returned quicker than that. My confidence is high that she most likely has. Could I have messaged her to find out? Sure. But where's the fun in that!

Was this trip planned. Nope. How did it come about?

My good friend who has many DVC contracts and rents out rooms called me about a reservation he had for Boardwalk, (water view) that he needed to rent and it was less than 30 days out so canceling would be a hassle. He offered me an extremely tempting price and I couldn't say no.

But first, I had to run it by the young, hot ball and chain, aka my wife!

Did she say yes? No. Did she say she would think about it? Yes!

Quick back story on my wife. She does not care for Orlando weather between May and October. Any of the other months she is game! I reminded her that this trip would be in her "good to go" window and that she should join me! The seeds of temptation were planted. I let them marrinate without any further discussion for 48 hours.

I currently have several dogs that would be good prospects for training at Disney as well.

Also, keep in mind we have a 10+ day trip booked for the Christmas Holliday. I wasnt sure if she would be cool with travelling down soon only to return within a month and a half.

Did I leave Disney park walk through videos playing on the TV when I left for work each day (before she woke up) in a subtle effort to narcissistically manipulate her emotions? Of course!!

Did it work??????

Update:

Major change of plans for this trip. C is not much better than a few days ago and then today she pulled a muscle. Needless to say she will not be going on this trip. On top of not feeling well, shes extremely bummed out. We were both looking forward to a trip together.

We still have our December trip which is not far off so we will have a trip soon. But it still stinks. Lis, my assistant will be standing by to come help C if she needs anything.

Also, the family of the dog is was going take on this trip had travel plans change and the dog will be with them.

I passed out Candy to trick or treaters this evening and tended to C as I packed. Im exhausted and will be hitting the sack soon! Ill update in the morning once I head out.

Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃

I like to leave as early as possible to not only get to orlando earlier in the day, but just as importantly to avoid the crazy city, traffic in atlanta.

I was about thirty minutes behind my usual schedule Which put me driving through the city around five thirty a m And that half hour delay was enough to have several crazies driving alongside me. Im talking just pure dangerous driving.

Nonetheless, we made it through the city and should be at everybody's favorite cult gas station soon!

Left the cult Headquarters without being indoctrinated.

And I am one of the people that @Tuvalu mentioned who leave their car at the pump and then go inside. The only difference is that i'm unique in the fact that I simply go in to use the restroom And then leave, not christmas shop or buy a new barbecue or eat for thirty seven minutes.

I did get some quilc pics tho!

It was actually not that crowded and there were many pumps open for use. So I did not feel too bad Taking an extra minute to document the cult mentality.

I did check out the pet section and considered getting a toy for Edith to chew on. But the only ones they had were toys that she would destroy within one nanosecond

I hadnt received the room ready text so Edith and I headed to Epcot. And as soon as we were on the way, I got the room.ready text. Luckily we hadnt even passed Tratoria Al Forno so it was a short walk back.

Upon opening our corner room door, we discovered a huge room!

Edith need to use the bathroom but I didn't let her go in the grass near the horse. We opted to go down further amd allow the horse to enjoy his space.

And get ready for lots of pics with ears pointed back because Edith cluld give a rats a$$ about posing for the camera. Here's a taste of what's to come

Im pretty sure does this on purpose lol.

We started the trip with a proper first attraction! Ediths favorite. Ok we'll, its low key my favorite but I won't admit it

As we were walking past a family, a man reached his hand down amd allowed it to draft across Ediths back. I quickly said, "dont do that" but he had already touched her. I figured id at least try and educate him But judging by the look on his face, i'm sure it fell upon deaf ears.

About five minutes later, the same scenario happened with a different family and as the man reached his hand down, I grabbed his hand and squeezed it Somewhat hard and threw his hand to the side. I was fully prepared for him to be upset and say something but as we strolled away he kept walking. Ive nver had 2 People try and pet a dog so quickly. But this was a sign of things to come.

Its Saturday and Epcot was packed (which is completely understandable) so I figured we'd try a different park. Quick stop at England for a potty break. And of course Edith was par for the ckurse with facial expressions.

I forgot to mention that at International Gateway a couple approached amd went right to Edith and asked "may we interact with her". Hearing it described as "interact" was a first for me. I politely said no and they understood. It was still funny to me.to hear them ask it that way
I'm glad to know that some people: #1.Still speak the King's English
#2. Are intelligent enough to read and comprehend the words on Edith's service collar
#3.Don't arbitrarily put their hands on another's property, child, or in this case animal.
Although I'd have paid real $ to see Edith's expression or hear a low warning in her throat for the unsolicited touching of the other 2 offending ignoramuses...
Also, it's been my opinion, as Edith's Gramma, that she disdains posing, she's too busy working, and watching....🥰
Love me some EE.
