ISTCrew's September 20th WDW Update

Updates

Keep the updates coming just as they are. I would much rather see a little personality in them. I think some of the people in here are the same personalities that would go overboard yelling at you in the parks or what I call the security guard syndrome. Granted I do have an 8 year old son and would not have appreciated seeing you giving a finger to the CM. I think everyone in here including myself have done it at some point before we thought about it. At lease you admit your weak moments.

Now back to more pleasant thoughts my upcoming trip!.

That is perhaps the funniest statement on these boards right now. Rode it 57 times, but you are the one to tell everyone else to get a date, and to get a life...Pure humor! Congrats!

As I said, that was over the course of 5 days (August 1-5) and about 40 of those rides with with ISTCrew...I have taken four years of calculus, and do not have to push my brain very hard to count to 57  At least I don't pick on people I don't even know just to be a creep like some people...

Easy man. Just ease up. Let's not get another argument going on this thing.

Let's try to get back to the whole premise of this post, updates from the mouse's house.

That's the difference right there. It may have been a split second reaction, and a small part of your day, but to most people on here, an obscene gesture, no matter how small, just doesn't belong at WDW, in front of a number of children, and they were trying to help you realize that. I'm not going to debate you whether or not you are really sorry like some are, but the action you took was uncalled for and I think you realize that.

As for your posts, maybe just maybe, you could try a revolutionary idea: 1) Keep the actual park updates and news in the News and Rumors board, and 2) put the stories about your day and your activities in the Trip Reports board. I'm not trying to tell you how to post, or to double your posts, but that would seem to prevent further problems like this again.

Kyle, There is also a difference between picking on someone and pointing out where they are wrong. It wasn't like anyone was picking on him for no reason (ok, maybe bringing the parents into it went too far) but trying to get him to understand what was wrong about his actions was far from picking on him, IMO. And as far as rules being made to be bent/broken, you are the kind of person that gives people like me (Human Resources and/or Employment Law Professionals) a heart attack. Word of advice, bend rules on your own, but not at the expense of others, if you just must bend rules.

Sorry about ruining the thread drift, now Rob, what about Denmark?

Do not pretend to tell me flicking off a CM warrants 12 pages of crap...

Honestly you guys...Back off it already. Telling other people they have no lives, spend to much time at the parks...ect...When you guys are sitting there, and aurging over this. Do me a favor y'all....read this outloud "PATRICK JOHNSON HIT A CAR ON THE TOMORROWLNAD SPEEDWAY, AND A 10 PAGE ARGUMENT OCCURED OVER IT"....I said I was sorry, but I AM NOT taking back what I did. What do you want me to say, "You guys are right, in every way imagniable, I will respect you, even though I do not know you, but, you know me, and thats why you have the right to yell and preach to me"?...Is that it, cuz we can continue on forever with this, cause those words are never coming from me to you guys...ever. Go head and sit there with steam coming out of your ears over this, and if that is you, I think its time to sign up for some kind of counseling/ anger management.

I go to the parks to have fun, not to be on my best behavior. No need to worry about the way I acted, to be honest, its none of your business. Actually, I made it your business, Im sorry for that, I will never do it again, after seeing how you guys act over such a small little thing.

And now, I was thinking about it, and IM NOT CHANGING THE WAY I WRITE MY UPDATES. Im just not going too. I will continue the way I did, and Im not going to let a few bad apples ruin it for the few that do like my updates now.

Its seems to me that I am not the one who needs to grow up, Im ready to let this go, and forget about it. Shame I lost some good people as friends, but if they get this way over something like this, I wish them best of luck in life. It seems, the way you guys acted in this situation, It seems to me your the kinda people that will start a 3 year no talking spree over the remote.

Im sorry, im not taking it back, its done, its done, its done. Find something better to do with your time:)

if you look to the right, you'll see Ikea... if you look to the left, you'll see a filming of 'Getaway in Stockholm'

Now Patrick, the thing is this: why make CM's lives more miserable by going against their rules? And that's the kind of thing that gets our privilages taken away. One person was killed on a coaster at Holiday World because she wanted more air time, and the 'coaster enthusiasts' told her to just do one click, which resulted in her death. Because of this Cedar Fair (Cedar Poin, Knotts) and Holiday World canceled all of their enthusiast events for 2004 and possably beyond. Just think of that. I'm not telling you what to do, just what has happened historically.

Now, back to Finland. Can we stop by Paris to visit DLP?
